What we want are outburst like these and we got one. ;D Wow you thought that was an OUTBURST!!!!!! LOL You are a sad little Girl. I crownd yall State Champs what else did you want. I am not sure how to take yall. You say lumberton is Slow Weak and Gives up, BUT then you beat your chest because the Pi Rats beat them. Why would you be so happy all you did was beat a slow, weak team that gives up??

First of all I thought this was Central at Lumberton Not a Pi Rats thread. Pi Rats won ok I NOW CROWN YOU STATE CHAMPS!!!! What do yall want The real Raider fans have said yall played great admitted yall won move on it will take more than one win to make the playoffs. I remember yall beating a Mid-County team once before acting all crazy like yall were World beaters and sat at home playoff time. I will save a prediction till I see if some of the hurt Raider players are ready to play. Without the LB's that are hurt it will be a long night and Central should win. If the entire Raider team is healthy (or at least close) Then I think it will be a good game with prolly a special teams play making the dif.

First of all those that say Hanna shouldnt play are just wishing, he made a mistake he plays with a full throttle all the time I love the fire but as I said befor sometimes you wish he wouldnt do the dumb things but I will take him as my player anyday!!! I think that the Pirate fans should be proud of the game they played but let me correct some of you. Hanna,Beard and Marlow were all injured heading into the game, most banged up from Tuesdays game. Beard has a pulled hamstring (from what his dad says) that has bothered him for more than a week or so. Crew Marlow has a pinched nerve in his neck that has bothered him for the last year. Hanna is such a violent runner and on Def. that he plays every week with bumps and bruises. vidor outplayed Lumberton in the second half but lets not try to make every one that was not at the game think that the Pi Rats Def. hit the Lumberton players and hurt them or that as one said YALL HIT HANNA AND HE GAVE UP!!!! LOL thats funny J never stops Hurt or not. Vidor beat Lumberton but dont think that they Hurt Lumberton. With all that said depending on how some of the injuries are This game should be a close one. Central better not show up thinking that this will be an easy win. The Raiders need to play this game like the playoffs might just depend on this win!

Second half---- Not that it matters but you asked so let me help you. Crew Marlow starting LB out Anthony Beard starting LB out most of the 2nd half J Hanna played second half banged up he even sat out some of first with a few knicks This is one reason Vidor ran much better in 2nd half, I am not saying that they might not have done this with these 3 def. players in but you asked so I tried to help!

I know J Hanna very well he plays with everything he has. 90% of the time this is a great thing 10% of the time he makes the bad mistakes like yelling or talking to the Refs. I would take J Hanna to start a team anytime. Before we start talking bad about ONE young man lets remember that there was a few Vidor players that were making hand waves towards the Raiders fans. I can understand this and dont have a bad feeling towards these young men because I understand it was emotion I love seeing emotion, its Football not Ping-pong.

As I said on the other Topic Congrats to the Vidor players they outplayed us tonight. In the first half The only thing that stopped Lumberton was Lumberton, in the second half Vidor dominated the L-Train! Congrats just remember this is only week 2 in 20-4a

I can only agree I think Vidor Out Played and out Coached Lumberton tonight. I will admitt I never thought this would happen but Vidor players you deserved the win tonight. I will say I am sorry to all for Hanna loosing his cool, I think getting beat along with Crew Marlow and A Beard getting hurt got the best of him. IMO Vidor just manhandled both our Off. and Def. lines great job on their part. Second I heard some L-Train fans saying the Refs cost us this game WELL THATS NOT TRUE!!!!! Vidor won fair and square I think. Good Luck the rest of the way. I pray all the injured players will be ok!! Its time to see what you young men in the Raider hats will do you can either give up or fight back and prove this was just a bad game against a good team.

Headed out to what I expect to be another beatdown of another Pi Rats team. It is ashame that the fans put so much into this game. Looks like another long season for the Pi Rats but if they win I will crown them State Champs like Pirate thinks they are!

I hate to wish bad things for the Pi Rats players But I cant wait for the Pi Rats to lose a few more games so the not so BRIGHT Pi Rat fans will disapear just like they did last year!!

CardinalFan I have talked to some of our old schoolmates and If schedules work we are trying to get a date to come support the HOMETOWN boys. As far as rebuilding at the beach I along with several others I have talked too are trying to find land for sale to rebuild more than we had there before the storm. Roger let me know if there is anything I can do to help you down there!

I dont have a problem with the Vidor Fans picking the Pi Rats to win not even the ones that picked them by 3 td" ;D but then throw in the haters, who pick against the Raiders every week and I just smile. Look two teams that Lumberton beat last year had a close game GOOD FOR THEM. I have seen m ost of the teams in this district either in a scrimmage or pre-district game. I still see PNG and Lumberton being at the top of the pile. Ned has a punchers chance with the passing game but may also die with it JUST LIKE LAST YEAR!!! Central and Ozen has a few good players but that doesnt make a great team. Vidor and LCM could and prolly will beat one of the playoff teams. In this district you have to show up every night (Tuesday,Saturday or Friday ;D) or you get beat. I doubt that Lumberton will go unbeaten but I think they show up this week and take care of this game. If Vidor just plans on lineing up and running the ball it will be a long night for the Pi Rats. Oh yea as the weaker passing teams we have played are finding out its not easy to just throw it up on this set of Raider DB's Good Luck to both teams and I think Vidor wins some games this year JUST not THIS ONE!!! Maybe what this game showed is just what I said weeks back that I thought Ozen,Central and Vidor were prolly all pretty even and would be fighting it out for 4th thru 6th spot in district.

Just my thoughts!!!!!! Lumberton beat a weak team but hey we have to play them all just like everyone else in district! #1 is a good player He is VERY fast---BUT He droped a wide open pass in his hands, made bad reads at QB and when someone caught him and hit him he looked like he was going to break in half. Hanna-- I wouldnt say he is better but he is bigger, hits harder and can take a hit better than the #1 Hanna got stuck once for a loss and jumped up and patted the kid on the head! I dont think you can hurt him one on one! Lumberton has a ways to go but I think they are on the right track. Ryan looked better at QB on some plays and Like a Freshman on others but all in all to be an underclassman I think he is pretty good. Def. Looked solid ( I know it was a weak Off.) but still. DB's looked good lastnight Kyler, Trent, Sparks all looked good. Remember we have not even let Beard carry the ball very much. YET!!!!

I think Ned. wins this and I will be surprised if its close. Ned may need help with being more aggressive on D, but Ozen has no Discipline so call that a draw. Then on Off. I think Ned will just outplay ozen. I have no dog in this fight so to speak, but if ozen wins I will tip my hat to them but I don't see it going that way. As for the Speed kills comment that holds no water here, remember those small-slow boys from L-Town last year going deep in the playoffs. LOL

We have seen it all before but usually a team loosing complains the most about bad calls. I have taught my kids that I coach "If you execute and do the things you are taught too do that you will win most of the time and bad calls can not beat you" I believe this still today!!!

Thanks MOOSE I will be busy but we have a Tuesday game this week and then a Saturday game the next week. So I would love to try to get to a game to see your son play this year. Those that do not know the tradition of the HI CARDS dont understand but those of us that went there know the HI CARDS will fight to stay alive as a school and team. What game is the Homecoming Game if you dont mind telling me. Our prayers from 4A go out to all three Galveston, Sabine Pass and dear to my heart High Island.

Well first of all Great Post Roger. As a grad of HI I hope and pray that the people return and I think they will. As a resident of the coastal areas you know that any year your home can be damaged by a Storm. When down there at HI my family saw many storms come in NONE THAT COULD COMPARE TO THIS. But we knew the risk, we still stayed and loved it. HI was a very close tight comunity when I lived down there and now some of the kids I went to school are now the parents of these players on this HI team. WTB I will be as nice as I can about this but YOU did call me a liar so who knows. You know very little about the Lumberton team from your post Duvall is the starting QB today for the regular season So yes they did start the back up QB and in case you also didn't know Lumberton put back-ups in and out the whole game. Some of these kids wont see much playing time all year. Playing back-ups in key times is what Scrimages are about to test and see if they can step up in games that matter. So WTB please dont act like you know very much about the Raider team. Dayton is the better team right now Congrats to the young men on the field!!! Yall played well and were very classy!

I will say this Dayton is a good team, But please know that Lumberton had Second string in from the first play of the game. The second string QB started the game. Dayton felt the need to play the starters the whole first half and at most times there were at least 5 or 6 starters in the game at all times Off. and Def. for Dayton. Lumberton will need work but will be ok. Dayton is a great team and will do well as long as Green is not hurt Good luck to both teams this year.

I wouldnt just assume that Dayton will make the playoffs before the season starts ( Look at the Black and Gold from last year) and then send out well wishes that Little Lumberton makes it so we can see a rematch. It still wont be a rematch kids have left school things have changed. Two years ago Dayton was the better team the night the 2 played Last year Lumberton was This scrimage tomorrow wont mean much, and I doubt yall will see our starters for very long. For Lumberton its more about finding our back-ups and that suprise player than playing our starters for three 1/4's so we can end with PRACTICE with more points than the other team. I wish both teams Good Games and Great Health.

I try not to get in the arguing but I will say Most post about Lumberton start and end the same way US Lumberton fans give our prediction and YES most pick our young men to win and because we do we are arrogant and people tell us to learn how to win. Those people need to look in on other topics as well No one goes on and picks their team to get beat. My comment is let the Lumberton fans pick L-Town to win and if you think they won't then say so but why do they always start calling people idiots and other names? If you don't like what the Raider fans say then do click on their topic. I love the trash talking but to say one town does it more than others is not true. Oh a little note for all that don't know Last year was not Lumbertons only winning season they had teams go 8-2 and 7-3 and 6-4 in the past but they just didn't make the playoffs. So please stop acting like last year was the only time they won A GAME. WOW its Going to be a long season.

Preach on Preach on. I saw Lumberton for a few min. this morning and talked to the QB's dad couldnt tell much in the few min I saw except the coaches were running a very intense practice good luck to everyone!

Congrats to the Dayton fans and team. This Lumberton Raider fan is pulling for yall.
