Was not at the game, but I heard that they got a 6'9 transfer from a Baytown school, any truth to the rumor. I heard he can play.....Will this put them over the top?

Will let u know about the 2 from HI, Just got word about a young lady enrolling at LCA from BC. I believe this is the start of alot of transfers from BC and other cities hit by Ike.

In Tapps this year, Anyone can come in without a transfer time frame. They must sit out (I think 15 days) Before there was a time frame on football, basketball, baseball, and track and field. We already have 2 students from High Island enrolled at Legacy. My thoughts are this, If a student is a true athlete and has a great chance of playing college sports somewhere, then yes go to a school that FITS a students needs. Usually the case is a private school, because of district rules of transfers.

I am too a grad of HI. I have lost friends and family because of IKE. Should they rebuild or not that is the ? I would have to guess that 90% of the school was not from High Island, but from the beach. Great job by Chester. We had about 500 peps out at high noon. Legacy QB Patureau had a monster day around 250 yards passing. First game played at LCA. WOW......

The field is in great shape. We have 25 guys out and including 4 transfers, (which all play basketball).
