yeah, I guess they did...well I guess the 20 pt advantage that brookeland gets didnt matter, Catman? the still would of won by 16, lol... Brookeland came out playing horrible the first 3/4 of the first half, but kicked it up a notch in the 2nd half. Good job wildcats keep it up, have Centerville Friday (ha) and the toughest game all year, Goodrich Tuesday.

well i have seen deweyville play once this year, and the team they did play against pressed, Brookeland. And d-ville lost by 18.

I have a question, is Brookeland considered a southeast team? I would think so, u have jasper on the rankings. So that means they are eligible to be on this list. Now wouldnt beating 4 teams ranked on setxsports.com make you eligible as well, or should I say deserving.

your right Catman. the JV team didnt have but like one person over 5'6 and the others were around 5'3...lol but CATMAN you never know that to smallest guys on jv, may turn out to be about 6'6 next year....lol...he does always seem to find a way...I mean after Brooks graduated a couple years ago, I thought they would drop off, then up pops the Henderson Twins... that JV team is horrible, I mean Coach King even left the bench at one time during the game, and didnt return for a good bit...lol does anyone know what grades the varsity team for goodrich is in? because there is absolutely nobody on that jv that could do anything at the varsity level..

well i"ve dont know much about Logansport...Ive seen some of the scores to there games.But being from Lousiana I dont know much...Yes I believe Spurger/Warren would be a good game.. But what about Brookeland/Spurger??? I believe that will be a great game also...and a Warren/Brookeland rematch... well 4 more days til it gets kicked off...a very competitive tourney!! well I went to the game and first of all the Varsity Boys game, seemed to not even start until almost 8:30...Being neautral for both teams...I would say, Big sandy should of beat goorich...the loss of one player, may have had a little affect, I do wish him well though...but BS first of all did not really try to get the ball to McKinney as much as they could or should of in the first half...Even when McKinney had his defender behind him under the goal...where no one could really stop him, the guards would not get it to him....not that they couldnt...McKinney finally started getting touches later n the second half. but He had to come away from the basket to really get the ball...Tolar didnt get a basketball I believe until the Second Half where he scored 7 points in a quick 2 min in the third...Tolar seemed to not be on his game really, missing many easy lay ups and put backs...Goodrich never really dominated this game, BS I believe just beat theirselfs, the midway through the fourth is when the score started to seperate,... Maybe it was cause the game was late?...lol I mean I didnt leave the gym til bout 10:15!!!! Well dont worry about this BS, just heal up over the holidays... And I wish the best to the Injured Wildcat...GOODLUCK get well soon.

Burkeville at Brookeland

After watching games at the Zavalla Tourney, I have started to question the quality of officials, that we have in this area.... I know there are some great officials, but sometimes the are null and void because they are teamed up with a horrible one... I believe the best refs are the ones, when you dont even realize that they are there... Dont anyone else have any input on the overall officiating this year.... TALK TO ME>>> lol

Doesnt Sabine Pass have "transfers" every year?... I remember seeing them play two years ago, n there "transfers" were playing on JV ,(sitting there 15 days), and they couldnt do anything against a JV team, but I suppose that would of made them a star on there Varsity that year...lol...Nah, Now, I havent seen them play since last year, but Unless they got, MJ's "spawn", is there any hope?

Brookeland got down 18-0 to start of game. Just playing careless lazy basketball...Pretty much controlled the game the rest of the game just couldnt take the lead... Hard to come out of a 18-0 hole... Brookeland plays Lovelady today at 9:30... and if Warren handles Wells like they should. It'll result in a Brookeland Vs. Warren matchup in the Consolation Finals... a great game of two teams that could of been in the winning bracket... I would like to see that game..well I Coop Im heading to Zavalla today, so I,ll get all the scores and post them later today.

It was a fairly close game with the score 53-49 with about 4 minutes left. I didnt get to see the game first hand, I had a "eye" out watching the game for me. But I will ask him in more detail how the game looked.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Why was he rude due to the fact that he wasn't from West Hardin? The West Hardin team was not well mannered either, with many intentional elbow blows by many of there guards. The hand clapping I believe was not in his the guys face when he was shooting free throws. If so wouldnt you think the officials would of done something?. Overall it was a very entense and emotional game. Good Job BROOKELAND
