In my most humble opinion the problem is bigger because people are coming back in. My husband is one of the ones that had to stay because he works for one of the cities. He has called me time and time again complaining because they are being hindered due to the people coming back in. He works for one of the lesser-affected cities, but they are still without power and still have clean up to do. I can only imagine how Bridge City and Orange workers must be frustrated!!! I certainly cant understand by WO is wanting school to start on Monday when we are still under mandatory evac. My kids wont be there! While listening to KOGT yesterday, they interviewed the mayors of Bridge City and Orange. One or both of them said that they are encouraging people to come back if they have a place to stay or someone to stay with. He said that the people are vital the rebuilding process. Now if you can't stay in your house or have nobody to stay with, come clean your house or whatever and then go back where you are. I know that with gas prices and lack of work, that is easier said than done. It takes a community to build a community. I was lucky and have nothing wrong where I am. Hell I am on the internet here in Orange. I'm here to just help out my friends and their families and my family. I was cozy where I evacuated too. With the health risks, I think they should be offering people free shots in the Orange and Bridge City areas. A rusty nail and sewage and dead fish everywhere isn't healthy.

Where are these places at in the city? I know that there is one in Bridge City and in Vidor. Haven't heard of anything in the city.

Medford Addition in LCM across from the high school. Power and cable and internet. Low water pressure that I wouldn't drink.

Is the Red Cross doing what they did last time?

I hate hearing this. LOL Its hard for Mustang fans to hear this. Although its logical. How many players does WOS have? I'd say around 25-30. What if this same game was played with both teams having the same number of kids allowed to play?? (Since this is all for fun) Would the outcome be different?

I wonder if places like BC can fill a team when thing start getting back to normal. Every house has damage there. I really feel sorry for high school kids especially seniors.

I'm hearing from many people that Lamar in Orange got messed up real bad being right there on the water. I wonder what they will do with their classes.

I keep watching all of the models at wunderland.com and all of the different projections. I just asked myself why. Its coming, its going to suck, and that isn't going to change. Its sucks having to listen to something you are so strongly against, but at the same time couldn't change it if you tried.

Well I evacuated to south of Lafayette. Not the smartest, but out of the Golden Triangle. I hope everyone listens and gets the hell out of there.

If the schools would cancel school that would send lots of people on their way. I know kids won't get beaten for missing school, but that would help the cause alot.
