Moody may not have wanted to play, but believe it or not this is a business. If they wouldn't have played us this year, we probably wouldn't play them anymore. WE can always find someone to play us. Also its not fair to kids that are looking to play at the next. Numbers play a large part in getting looked at and standing out against other players. 40 touchdowns look better than 36 for a guy like Garrett. Its a nice round number. See ya at DRH.

You just brought lots of attention to Lumberton. Yes, last year they had a good season. That being said... Did you graduate from there? I had to read the first post 3 times. I had to mute my TV to actually put together your thoughts. You may have just caused the city of Lumberton to lose potential citizens because they want their children to get a higher education.

I'm so ready for football season. High school, college and pro. This just got me jacked up. West Orange and our preseason schedule. It always looks rough, but it makes you tougher.

I played at the higher levels in this area. And yes we would go to Houston tournaments and ocacassionally win them. And actually play against some fellow high school players that were playing for the Houston clubs. The only reason people would go to Houston and play is for exposure to scouts. Its not that we couldn't beat those teams.

Do we scout scrimmages?

I graduated in 2001. My freshman year we had around 350 students in my class. The biggest class maybe ever or in a long time. I don't remember. When we graduated our # was down around 250.

How many do we seat at DRH (WOS)?

How many people does that stadium hold? I see they are fixing the press boxes. I was curious on the size compared to other stadiums in the area. And if its going to start being used for playoff games when its back in good condition.

Someone said something about at WOS everyone is welcome on the field. As soccer players we got to run around the field on the track. We didn't get to practice or play on the field. You have lost your mind. I saw the boys team do "5 Star" before the game at LCM and left because it was horrible. Nobody on that team looked like they have ever played before or had any coaching. She needs to step it up.

I must confess, I read all 4 pages of this just to find out what BOJO means. That being said I think its a little corny but in the grand scheme of things its sends a nice message for the entire school system. Stangs84 talked about people who don't work out and have a good off the field work ethic still getting to play because of raw talent. Across the interstate at WOS I know of guys that wanted to be punks and not make a commitment to play ball and they didn't. There were always guys that could have helped out the team that didn't play. Coaches don't want these guys. They can bring a team down from within. At WOS the same thing happened in Basketball. Guys that were better didn't play (didn't even get on the team) because they didn't want to put out the effort. I am just speculating but I believe that at LCM they don't have that option. With a declining program they are going to as coaches "take it on the chin" and just deal with these players.
