  1. It won't translate very well vs. those opponents, but it will translate okay vs the bottom 5/6 team of the district. That's the crazy thing about this district. It's top 3 and then its wide open for the 4th spot. I'd say right now, Hardin is the favorite to finish out Top 4. We should know a lot more in the next couple weeks.

  3. I stand corrected. There are many others that I was not aware of. At the end of the day, you guys are spot on. Hard working kids, with rich tradition and a can do attitude will get the job done every time. My apologies to anyone I offended with my tasteless comments.
  4. I was born in 66. I had not heard of any success in the area outside of Newton and WOS. My apology for not knowing about Nederland, PNG and BC.
  5. Oh okay, here come the threats. LOL
  6. Its just funny how those "others" exist outside of SETX and have existed for the last 40-50 years. Its the same communities most often. Their tradition does not waver and those kids expect to whip everyones butt on friday nights.
  7. Own what ? I said a couple others. LOOK AT THE ORIGINAL POST. Nobody is crawfishing Dog. You have a problem with comprehension.
  8. And no, I did not forget Aledo - Aledo has a mixture and has had a mixture for a while. LT is in my list of a "couple others" with WestLake.
  9. most of us were not alive in the 50's big dog
  10. Nailed it. However, I feel like Newton will win by 40+
  11. Where is there not a snoozefest, Icon ? Which game?
  12. Ha! You are probably right, but a win is a win is a win, right ?
  13. "hard working white kids" has not worked for SOUTHEAST texas in the history of ever...........AS IN EVER..........or also known as EVER, Thanks ICON - you get it !!!!
  14. You need to re-read my post just like the other guy. What part of my listing a few communities that have been able to do this "exception to the rule" do you guys not get ? HP is one, like Celina, Brock Argyle and a couple others. All of those communities are within 100 miles of each other, which is also no accident. Good lord people READ !!!!!!
  15. I said a few others. HP is definitely one.
  16. Your comment directed toward my post makes absolutely zero sense. I said you have to have a portion of superior black athletes. Without the athletes you can not and will not be successful. You need to study Texas HS football a little harder, boy.
  17. Just glad everyone is healthy at this point in the season. Let's go Hornets
  18. Orangefield should win this game by two TD's.
  19. It should be very close. I feel like Kirbyville will be victorious at home.
  20. Every year, it’s the same teams. So, what do the same teams have? They have the same blood as those that went before them. End of story. I don’t wanna hear the Facilities argument. WOS & NEWTON coaches dying for facilities and have done what they’ve done without it. Does it help? Sure. But it don’t hurt a select few programs in the State with superior athletes. Outside of Brock, Celina, Argyle and a couple others...there is NO community in the state that has had football success without a good portion of superior black athletes. Don’t @ me.
  21. 2hrs 17 mins. Cushing is slightly better even without your 6 turnovers. The better team won.
  22. Not a chance captain.
  23. Changing location from away to home does not "HELP" the ball carriers hold onto the football.
  24. Well, it looks like the Hardin Hornets will be hosting Warren for Homecoming. I do not know a lot about Warren aside from they lost to West Hardin. I've seen some predictions that say Hardin will be a 30 point favorite in this game. This will be the last easy win for Hardin in the season. Everything gets tougher from here on out. Hopefully, the Hornets can stay healthy and compete for a playoff spot.
  25. I think this will be low scoring as well. Give me O-field by 10
