  1. I'm happy Memorial is in control of this game, but imo there's no way in heck BU should be looking like this. They have nice size and some decent athletes, I don't get it.
  2. Memorial did a great job after being tested and dealing with some 1st half adversity, to come in the 2nd half to takeover the game. Now they just need to continue to play smart and don't let teams bait them into those bs penalties......good win Titans.
  3. Been watching him too, great size but he has a low motor and poor effort on defense.
  4. Digging the aggressiveness going for it on 4th down, and I like that shuffle pass.
  5. I never cared about who's in a district, you still gotta show up and play. The score may not have showed it, but I saw we can play with anyone in district 10. Talent wasn't Memorial's problem this year, and lack of execution was on offense. Blame it on whoever, 5 tds on blown coverages and we was able to move the ball. Every lose ball bounced their way. I was more impressed by losing to the #10 by 42 than anything I saw all season.
  6. Proud these kids, wasn't the season we wanted but it was the season we got. Fought hard and never gave up, as a fan. That's all I could ask for.
  7. I will definitely be there, and we will compete. Let the chips fall as they may. We're playing with nothing to lose.
  8. I talk to my son about all of this, and he paints a very different picture. Football goes deeper than what you see on Friday.
  9. Young QB trying to grow into a position at the moment he doesn't fit but has potential. Tons of small things, instead of diving to make a tackle they chasing and reaching trying to grab jersey which makes a play of no gain into a 5 or 8 yard gain, same with instead of just tackling they're trying to strip the ball on every play which leads to miss tackles and big gains. Offensive line stays in flux, once you get a group that does ok, somebody gets hurt. A bunch of small things that add up to a big problem.
  10. I only asked because I haven't heard that name in a while. Met him when I was in the 8th grade as a PA kid. He would always tease me and tell me that I should've move to BMT with my uncle and play for him. Every time I would see him we would talk, not just about sports, but about life, just anything. Played against him in 84, 85, and 86. He left a great impression on me, and I had tons of respect for him.
  11. Coach Hentchel, wasn't he the old coach for South Park? If so, he was a great guy and a solid football coach.
  12. Could it be that kids aren't buying into the program? I haven't sat on a WB side for a game, but I have for a Central and a Ozen one and it sounds just like a Memorial Titans game. Everyone is talking down on the program. Every players parent knows more than the coach. If the parent doesn't fully support the program, why would the kid that's playing? I don't know if the culture has changed for BU as far as fans go, but if you have kids playing for themselves and not fully trusting the system, you tend to break down when things get tight because it turns into hero ball.
  13. Defense on a whole played well, but the 2 big pass plays were back breakers, and the fumble in the redzone leading to the 3rd td didn't help either. I don't care how this season turns out. I refuse to talk down on these kids or this team. 4 turnovers will kill you every time. I did like what I saw out of Milton, especially on that last drive, he threw the ball accurately and with timing. I hope they start giving him more reps.
  14. That's every week. This team has no rah rah guys. I think it's time for a shake up, some guys need to be moved around, they look like they're taking their starting positions for granted.
