I can confirm it also, as I posted in the Lumberton vs PAM game from the BH tourney. My post was basically " how every offensive possession does not run thru #5 I will never understand". My daughter played in same AAU Org with #5 and One Chance's daughter. I know first hand the skill level, the athletic ability that #5 brings to the court. She is a force if she would be utilized properly. Good luck the rest of the season, and hang in there, lol.

Indeed, congratulations to her!

They must have taken your "constructive criticism" to heart, and made it part of their New Year's Resolutions Package, lol.

Again, hard to know what really is happening at a game by just looking at the score. Was team missing 80% of their free throws and shot attempts, were the foul calls 2 to 1 in one teams favor, did fouls make key player(s) have to sit, were fouls not called at all, which would give less skilled team greater chance to stay in game against team with better basketball skill? Lot of possible factors that would make a score appear to be closer than it "should". I do agree a win is a win, there are no extra credit style points.

BC some nice outside shooting and rebounding, and Lumberton missed too many free throws was the difference imo. Good Hard clean effort by both squads. -

HJ - HJ can play multiple styles of game, they have the weapons to weather the vaunted Silsbee press. Will need a strong ref crew that is immune to the trappings a game like this can present, one that can handle the intensity this game will bring. PNG - Will come down to free throw and shooting percentages. Vidor is a tough out, period, PNG will have to execute, and their guards will be key here. Deer Park - I have seen Sterling, and they are scrappy, but I think Deer Park appears stronger. Jasper - Have not personally seen Huntington, but see their scores and feel they are solid. Have seen Jasper and know what they bring to the table. Jasper at home tips scales for me. Lumberton - Just an emotional "homer" decision, BC much better record and playing at home, but have to root for the young underdog Lady Raiders here.

Eddie Michalko. Was the East Chambers coach last year I believe. Long time Louisiana coach who was at East Chambers before goin to LCM. 1000 win coach, if I am not mistaken.

Second time through district will show the importance of each team's coaching staffs, in terms of how they adjust to what they have seen from the opposing teams the first time through district play. In-game flexibility, i.e. the ability and willingness to try different strategies than what an initial game plan or global scouting report was, will be much more crucial the second half of district play.

It is, but it is ESPN3 material compared to the ESPN PrimeTime matchup of HJ vs Silsbee. In all seriousness, I hope all the young ladies are able to have fun in these meaningful, competitive games, and that the games are free from parent noise and vitriol from the stands. Just sucks all the fun out of watching the games. Not to leave any district game out, in the LCM vs WOS matchup I will say that I am a WOS fan myself for this Friday.......
