We've seen stuff simular in the news before, a kid playin in the little league world series @15.It happens and coaches are not aware sometimes.I agree we've all gotten educated on the rules and forthcoming this can be corrected sooner before a uh oh does happen.This case curiosity got the AD to double check and took appropiate measures until proof was brought forward.Kudos to Coach Thompson.Being a former coach for yrs I did my best on/off the playing field.I don't know why a parent or a kid would take a chance that could ruin alot of others hard work.Now get that diploma kid,make us proud you didn't quit and always Believe.Look fwd.to seeing your name among others on National signing day,nomally 1st wed.in Febuary 2012 ;)

Nah,when you get a team reeling(making mistakes)you can pour it to them as they've basically given up and the 2nd team can score alot whoever they are ;)

Sorry but again Liv #2?Good lawd 2010 they lose 3 dist games (Central-playoff team ok) then the Choo-Choo beat em(no playoff)LCM beat em (no playoff)Broncos always beat em.But they do have a really tuff pre-dist sch. w/Jasper/Huntsville-red headed step child team in the 4a class gets top billing.Ya'll must be trying to interest Piney woods posters to join as they certainly ain't earned a top 10 spot here or a top 25 in anybodies poll.I had planned to make a early preview show but Nada I'll wait till Liv loses to a mediocre team. ;D

Well since scrimmages don't count then yes beating Elkins was the 1st 5a victory for Dayton.I believe scrimmaging Spring this year gave confidence we can play w/some 5a teams w/deep depth and lots of atheletes.Conditioning is a major factor.At practice yesterday and you could see the confidence factor after last friday.Kids are pumped ;)

I'm aware his db skill will not play a factor this year in FW a predominent throwing team,no pun intended Gas ;)

Only ranking this Dayton fan cares about is my own.To make it to the qtr.finals in 09-10 after losing our mvp offensive player Ploch for awhile(concussion Crosby gm)09-Delasbour 19 4a mvp for the year in 2010 (Crosby gm again)and play respectable football 09 leading Brenham for 3 3/4 starting 6 soph.and the Cubs went to the title gm w/Tivy followed by being 6-3 @ half w/LaMarque in 2010 that also went to the title gm w/Aledo and LM scored 20 something pts on them @ halftime.There's my reasoning Liv is not the #2 Setx big school power.You gotta go wayyyy back to find da Lions a dist.champ.If shoulda's and coulda's counted well you know the drill. 8)

Either way Ozen gets kudos for scheduling 2 back to back 5a playoff teams.They should be ready to avenge some close losses from last year in 20-4a a race that I think will be tight.BOT Memorial by 21
