Barring any injuries this year Nederland is my surprize team this year.That's a pretty cool pic since they've been young and banged up recently and made a playoff bid.Think they've got the talent/chemistry to gel into a real good team.Now they gotta find a kicker w/some acuracy ;)

3 teams stand out every year FW & LaMarque,Angleton to name those we've played and give us(Dayton)110% and throw the playbook @ us w/opening K/O onside kicks,etc.We've not had success @ beating either team but have had a cpl.close games.

Polls all have opinions and fans have their own.I'm not saying Liv does not deserve the top spot offensively but alot of teams hung close w/the Lions because of their swiss cheeze D.Mike you say Liv.should have beat Dayton but they have not 3 of the last 4 yrs in the playoffs.Folks when you talk about a teams depth remember the last 2 yrs in a row a Bronco MVP back got K/o out in the Crosby dist.match-up.Ploch in 09 for 3 games,Delasbour for the yr.and they still went deep both yrs.Just sayin depth should be an important tool to evaluate a poll.

35-17 Dayton-Thinking we'll keep teams guessing swapping Qb's in and out.Something we have not had in a long time.Herrera mostly hit the short % passes w/1 deep now/then.With Chambers height and rocket launcher arm and his great downfield vision I'm excited about what we're gonna see.Fresh rested Qb's will be a + for the Bronx.Young linemen-new position players begin to show their talents.We're gonna throw the rock to open the run.If we get into another def.battle we can kick 15 points 8) :D

Yeah,right a few days ago the ant mound girls volleyball got skunked by Tarkington :D

Now that's a non-homer good report.It's real early and players are trying for starting positions.Gonna have some missed assignments for everybody this early.Good luck next week those green shoes might backfire cause Huntsville colors too :D

Left BH-89 and his little darlin girl in her BH beads early after BH scored easily 3 consecutive times.Stinkadina flat out stunk both ways.Qb telegraphed where every play was going,no size,no wheels,no discipline.Bronco 9th grade team would prolly hang w/them.Don-Keyritas made the trip turn out ok 8) ::) ::) ;) ;D

Twice you gave the Cubs the edge then Westwood scores before the live action starts and ends in a scoreless affair,so what's the final tally w/o any homerism.Scrimmage smack it's usually a 2 sided coin.We know Brenham talked smack all game when we played ya'll.Sounds to me like Westwood thought they were better overall today 8)

Hope I'm still around in 15 yrs to see the next Carranco(Isacc)1 of 2 twins born last yr.a boy ad a girl.Asked Jorge was Isacc going to be another great kicker?Heck yeah ask my wife how hard he kicked.Gotta love it ;) :D

Bronco 9th/jv did well in their limited scrimmage.Varsity I saw some good things coming out of the match-up for both teams.For Nederland I thought they executed their game plan pretty well mixing the run/pass and good second effort to keep the chains moving while consuming alot of clock time.For Dayton the overall team speed was better than Ned's as Broncos capitalized on some long passes/runs and seemed complacent @ times dropping good passes while looking to run before catching.Positives/negatives senario;Dayton kicking+ Ned -and the game was closer than the outcome w/the inconsistent Bulldog kicking game.Mid 4th qtr.both teams looked tired and neither could keep a drive going trading punts 8)

He's a playmaker and has good downfield vision.His legs/eyes in HS were better than throwing passes.He could throw 1 in college behind the scrimmage line on a flea-flicker though.Good luck for a good athelete ;)
