Coach Barbay @ Newton will always be remembered in SETX and the icing will be what his HC sons do in their own careers.Now that my friends is the X factor-WOW that makes the record books.

Should be a great game both are well coached but the Gregory Portland coaching staff's have great success over many yrs.

That explains part of it.You have to die to make the obituary column in the surprize for Dayonites.Please coach don't, you remember gotta see that 6th grade bunch through lol.

Some say Dayton is part of SETX-some say not-which is it.I'm tired of reading dung articles consistently leaving Dayton out even when we smoked 22-4a the surprize did a huge color team pics article again leaving out the back to back dist 22-4a champs.I don't believe in bashing a coach must less a hs player but to disregaurd their accomplisments to ME is a form of it.If articles such as this keep being posted I willfully intend to no longer post anything towards the site.It is the paper not the great fans,posters I have a beef with.To leave one of the cinderella stories of a great coach coming in & turning a program totally around and 14 straight playoff appearances make Dayton 1 of the best in our area.Liltex PS-1 more untrue paper article posted then bye-bye ya'll it was fun.

If Dayton would do it they could go to the throw back colors the Colbert Tigers had purple/yellow like LSU.Colbert High was the school before integration to 1st  represent Dayton in a state title game so I think it would be cool if they'd put some yellow on the uniform.I can't find any history recorded on fb websites on Colbert High but you should have been @ just 1 game when they played the Liberty Lions.That was a heck of a game and don't even get me started on how good the Tiger band was.They were 1 of the better sm.school bands I ever saw back in the mid 60's.
