FW history 328-222-11.Since 1996 vs.Dayton 6-1  of those 7 games(  2 were by a fg-1 by a 2 pt.conv.-2 by a pat-1 by a td+pat-And the last but not least in 2008 when Cody Green was coming back after a 2007 leg injury for the season FW beats us by 3 tds & 3 pat's =21 pts.Go figure Cody goes ballistic after guiding Dayton to state.We have never played FW past gm.3 of any year.

Dayton/Nederland have had some lop-sided scores against ea.other over alot of yrs.but they've been very similar also. Both are well coached but I think for now Dayton is still showing where it left off last year.

Indeed he played well.Looks like #1 after being groomed 2 yrs.@RB then movng the soph.to LB in mid-season where his size and quickness payed off as well as him getting in some hard licks has him primed for a monster season as a jr.in his starting role.At this time last year the DL was set but had to find a OL,LB'S,QB,RB,WR's and going in those positions are primed by 4 playoff games of experience for another run.

All the kids that have committed for Dayton showed why they'll play after HS with some surprizes too.By the way it was alot of high 5's among 1,000 bronco faithful.

Rykers make the scrimmage?Ran in to him and his family @ lunch today @Texas Roadhouse in Pt.Arthur after we stopped @ flea mkt.in Vidor then to Orange trade days.

Both Nederland and Dayton will be tested next week.Nederlands offensive line will get the biggest test.But still positive comes out of scrimmages for the  games to come.

Broncos did what their suppossed to do to a 3A team without the #1 reciever jr.Gamal Fowler who did not play a down w/a tweeked foot.WOS needs some work but Darrian Wright is a stud just like last yr.dbl.team him and he still makes tackles.LB Ripkowski put the pressure on all night till relieved.This scrimmage from the get go was dominated in the trenches-my hero's.

Those playin on turf towards the middle of the day thru 3:00 or so will feel the xtra heat.At bronco stadium @10:00 am you can feel the heat thru your sneekers and 1 of the coaches said last week they recorded 130 just above the art.turf @3:00 over @Huffman.I now am a fan of real grass.I'll be @ Dayton/WOS practice 8)

I believe Coach Stewart once said he'd hang around @ least long enuff to see the 6th grade class graduate as there's lots of talent there.That's how we groom them from ponies to stampeding broncos ;) :D

Some good looking lineman there soulja.But I like the attitude of the coaching and that's a plus.
