A big SE Texas Thank You out to Coach Foreman though I've never met him I did meet his daughter while shopping in Waxahachie last Oct.while there to attend Texas State Fair and we spoke of friends we both knew from Orangefield.This game will live in the kids minds forever getting to play against others from larger and smaller schools and is a win win for everybody so let's pack the stands and root for all of them in their last high school game.Oh well no Broncos so I'll root for the best from the west ;D

What uniforms are the teams wearing for east/west?Hoping a speedy recovery for Aggie as I think he's broadcasting this game.I see a great sales promo for Ford.Show your ticket stub to any SE Texas Ford dealer within 90 days and recieve an additional $500.00 off any F-150-F-250-F-350 truck.Come on Ford give the winning coach the keys to a new truck to drive for a year w/all the game advertizing marked on it.Then next year he has to give it to the next winning coach.Then in 4-5 years auction it off to the high bidder.

June 6 rollover report;@ of us fished on the bay side from 8:00 pm-7:00 am sunday morning w/2 1,500 watt floods w/not much action 1-13lb.drum-1 16"speck-2 sand trout throwing live shrimp under cork and tandem white & glow shad bodies.I'd say there were at least 30 sets of lights w/not much action.Sand trout were biting decent about when we were leaving just too tired to fish anymore.Locals came out and fished maybe 1 hr.then they left.

Getting 110% effort out of what you have,get them all on the same page w/what you're coaching each player to do and getting them to buy in to the program.Execute what you've learned and give some quality playing time to your underclassmen and above all else teach them sportsmanship win or lose and be just more than a coach for @ times a player may be going thru something that has them emotionally distracted.Be a shoulder for them to lean on.Coach Stewart & staff @ Dayton do all the above ;)

Since we don't get much info from posters up in the pineywoods my pick is-Livingston Lions for 20-4A-In 19-4A Barbers Hill ;)

If there is no move-ins,move-outs,looking at last years roster Vidor returns 10 that will be seniors this fall. 8)

Not always-Pearland Dawson & Manvel both were successful in their 1st year then the Dawson team went on to lose to Lake Travis in only a cpl.yrs.As for 19-4A I'd say GCM was successful as well.

Your hardwork ethic made this last year another 1 for the record books and some of you were a part many teams still playing in the second round.There were some surprizes and a few disappointments but no losers  in doing your very best.May you have a great summer you've earned it and best wishes in your next endeavor-All of you made us proud of Setx Football #1 -I don't care what DCTF thinks.

Two things;After Ike got rid of the boat but still have lots of tackle and know a little about Rayburn and Toledo.Placed in the top twenty McDonalds tourney twice and it will be flippin stick time in weedbeds close to creek channels come tourn.time-2nd a month ago had reconstuctive ankle surgery on a nam war injury a month ago.I go in for x-ray June 7 and if things look good I might be able to find a friend w/a boat and fish it.

That's easy the Broncos only played 1 team-Vidor in the playoffs and all 3 backs were good.They just drew Dayton  w/a good rushing defense.

Where is Sultis stadium located from Dayton?I like the 2 hr.differance it allows time to see both teams early.

Brenham-Montgomery-I only pic 2 as I've never liked the 4 team format.You should teach kids they have to earn a  playoff spot

Don't get me wrong I love humor & smack & have developed a taste for crow mainly from losses to FW.I hope BH gets much better.They certainly paid enuff to win but just in case they can't you could get an edge up on the dist.by putting basketball goals in both ends of the tunnel .We're never real good in roundball-extended football seasons ;D
