I was thinking since Ploch has been moved Back to WR.What if he played a little defensive end or linebacker.You know he likes to hit.Use him mainly on 3rd down situations?Think that little wrinkle would sack a QB with his speed?Not trying to be a coach-just wondering.

Could care less about rankings.I'll say this about Dayton this year-The 07-08 Broncos lost big early to Friendswood and went deep both years Semi/Finals in Div 2.This years team lost by 3.Friendswood stayed close to Angleton without Their best RB A.Cole.Broncos held Friendswood to 110 yds.rushing on 39 att=2.82 yds.per carry.Bronco "D" allowing 112.3 rush per gm-118.8 pass per gm.My bet is not on the polls but Dayton will be in the hunt in 09 to the Quarter Finals.I like when folks underestimate just how quick we can score.At least the SETX coaches will not deliberately run up the scores.Other areas and alot of the high ranked teams do it regularly and it gets the pollsters/media watering at the mouth.In the past weeksmore than half the top 10 teams that were picked to win-LOST.They should print polls on cheap toilet paper.

Week by week these polls change spots and get shuffled around.If you have 2 state champs in Div 1/Div 2 and 2 differant playoff brackets then there should be 2 differant polls.And the end of it all who's really the #1 and only State Champ?Need one more title game just for the holidays Div 1 vs Div 2.

Cmon Raider's let's regroup and play lights out the next 2 games.You have everything you need and a break here and there and you were still in this.You have a class group of young talent and it ain't over yet.I posted last year that PNG's team was also better than it's record was.The 2 Lumberton games I saw this year Silsbee & Vidor I got excited about this team.My favorite Dayton  was on a off week for the Tiger/Raider clash and I wanted to keep my baby moon hubcaps so did not go to the NF game.I may not go to the KIng game this week as I'm figuring it will be much like last years rout.Sure was hoping for that Bronco/Raider playoff matchup.Just what IF somebody had to forfeit a game for some reason and OOP's your still in this thing by winning out.Just never know so don't give up guys and gals.Not saying or implying anything against any team but this has happened before.

The poll has other mistakes-One is Brenham they are not 8-0.Lost 9-12-09 to Hou.Lamar 36-14-Should read 7-1.Haven't checked others but been keeping up w/teams Dayton has played before.

Maybe not the best just yet but the freshman Bronco kicker Juan Carranco is as sure as the good snap.4 years to watch him follow in the footsteps of his other 2 brothers who were all district kickers several years at Dayton.

I'm with you on the defense part.Time to step it up a notch and make a statement by scoring off sacks,fumbles.As for the O still waiting for that long return td like we had last year.Like to see Ploch/Franks as return guys on kickoffs.

Let's just say as good as King was suppossed to be last year Dayton routed them at their house.I think it could be worse for the Panthers this year.Just because of the mascot name.

Will this be a sellout or could a Bronco purple get a seat for this game as the CE King game is not going to be a very good game I'm afraid.Bronco D shut um down bad last year at their house and they were alot better in 08.

Bronco Purple for me.But sometimes just gotta see a few other good teams play when I think a rout is coming or a bad neighborhood around a stadium.I like great exciting games.The fans @Lumberton/PNG are great to be around and are excited about their teams.

Not saying they're the best but Dayton is pretty salty.Could be even better if a couple of the big quick OL players played some D.I'm thinking the next 2 games will have a few new wrinkles added.

What's the deal on the tailgate gatherings this year?Will there be charter bus trips available for this game?

I look at it like this-If you can make it through the first few rounds then anything can happen.Some teams gel late-injuries have to be accounted for in the equation-Then there is the no pass no play equation-Angleton has proven thus far they can win without passing but there are teams that can slow down a solid rushing game.All respect for Digg's as he plays both ways.

Impressive Win-Congrads to the Indians.Should move up again in the polls.Coaching has been magnificent but you have to have some talent as coaches don't play the game.This is a great tradition as the transition has arrived right on time.

Ah,Bobby Steck.The guy was built for speed.Got tired of running track steps behind his.

Outsider with no dog in this game having seen both play this may be a nail biter.Raiders are backed in a corner and will give PNG all they want and some.Still nobody has beat them soundly-all 3 losses were close.If they can play without many miscues on offense they could sneak in a win in their house.Every week there is some upsets and this may be one.Look for Lumberton to lay it all out there and play good defense again w/gang tackling.Indians will be tested in the secondary if they can't contain the QB who can scramble and throw strikes on the run as good as I've seen in awhile.

Jabo could do it all.Best player and could play anywhere they wanted a stud.

Congrads to everyone listed-Great for SETX sports fans who support and continue to be their fan base.

If the Raider team that makes less miscues shows up this could be a very close game.A game the L Train needs to win to stay in the playoff race and has to stay focused for 4 quarters of hard nose football.Having seen both teams earlier I think PNG has more depth and is stronger both ways.Who will capitalize and turn miscues into points?PNG 28-Lumberton 17
