Toups just read online from the Ft.Worth Star Telegram that the Dayton/Tivy-Everman/Sulphur Springs winners will play a sat.p.m.game Dec.20th at Georgetown.Dayton/Tivy get 1st look at stadium.

Newsflash I just located in the Sports section of the Fort Worth Star Telegram Newspaper;It has been decided that the winner of the Everman/Sulphur Springs-Dayton/Kerrville Tivy games will play each other saturday p.m. Dec.20th at Goergetown w/Dayton/Tivy getting the 1st look at the stadium.Great news for Dayton if we were to win there 1st.

I typed in San Antonio Newspaper in ask.com;went to SA Gametime HS Sports-Clicked on stats and was writing Tivy stats when I lost my connection.Was able to get these:QB Colton Palmer(susp.2 games)Back up QB got injured a week or so back but had 13 td.passes in 3 games.Palmer 6'4"-205lbs.was 156 for 239 passing w/65.27 comp.ratio-16 td passes-6 int.ran for 300 yds.Recieving Logan Vick 5'10"-185lbs.-83 catches for 1,186 yds=8 tds.--Matt Ayala 5'8"-140 lbs.-had 53 catches for 731 yds.=11 tds.They match up well w/Dayton except Cody's rushing stats outnumber Colton's by a mile.They trow more than run or at least the stats show nearly 2 to 1.I think we may be a little better overall on the line both ways w/a little edge in speed as well.

Yes these guys are amazing on the line both ways.Talk about some blocking and some hits on defense these young men do it well every week.Hence the reason for all of our success thus far.

Familiar sounding stories that has been said through all of these playoff games about how the other team is gonna take it to Dayton,and all of them took it alright all the way to the basketball court.We have not had to play 4 full quarters yet so we do not know exactly how many points we can score but it will be enough in this game.Everyone else that has played us has tried there turn to slow us down but have not and I doubt it will be much differant as we will play to whatever you bring.

Bad call-Good call it happens in a quick moment and it is what it is.But to eyewitness a mid 60's game for bi-dist.and to see your Broncos lose 8-7 in the last seconds on a 2 point conversion pass from the Qb to the Center for Hampshire Fannett that was on film-protested at UIL in Austin and not overuled is alot worse.Congradulations Jags on a unbelivable season.

I say NO even though I was in attendance in a bi-dist game in the mid 60's at Bronco stadium watching Dayton/Hampshire Fannet.Broncos led 7-0 real late in the 4th qtr.w/like a min.left the Longhorns scored 6 pts.and set up for the two pt.conversion.The Qb dropped back to pass under big pressure and as he was going down he threw the pass to the center(ineligible reciever)and he took it in for a 8-7 win that was on film and taken to the UIL folks who could not overturn the officials ruling.A unfair and bad referee call and very demorilizing to see as fans were screaming and running onto the field to loudly voice their opinions.That being said it is hard not to vote for instant replay-better to protest the game and hope that justice prevails.

Well two good teams hook up against each other and 1 will lose.Lake Travis has a little pressure on their back also defending their title of 07 and a few weeks ago a few other teams were hanging with them thru 3 qtrs.I think Lake Travis pulls away late in the 3rd qtr.and puts the game out of reach.

I made my prediction Dayton by 13 take it for what you want.You can post your prediction too as it means you Believe.What happens-happens,we do not effect what happens on the field,the players decide that.I like this excitement and I won't be a fan to place blame on a bad call or two as it can go both ways.Both teams are good but one will lose sat.evening in Georgetown and I will be there early to root for the Broncos till the end to witness one of Dayton Bronco Football greatest games in their history and that will be a acomplishment to the players and coaches for all their hard work and early circumstances they have overcome.Hope to see some succeed at the next level.Go Broncos- 2 time semi-finalists back to back 07-08

My heart felt condolences to my classmate Rodis Briggs father of Derrick who I watched play as a young boy when I coached the Giants and later the A's in pony league.He will be missed by all who knew him.His grandmother Ruby (deceased) was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met as well as his auntie Mrs.Pearson(Simone's mom).I will be praying for this family and for Rodis who had a recent heart problem.May God comfort you all.

Jake Shaw's bunch will have something to say probably tommorrow.So far Dayton has held up their end by winning bigger than they were picked.I see those 4 sportswriters of which 3 of4 picked Tivy over Dayton in the Semi's.to crawfish(backup)a little and side w/the Broncos for this one.If Dayton comes out like last week it will be a trip for Tivy to the roundball game.I am still convinced we have not seen the Broncos at their very best.I believe we can put up over 50 at anytime playing 4 full qtrs.which we have not done in a very long time,especially these playoffs we have shut down the offense early in every single game and this week I hope is the 4 full qtr.game is in the plan.

Look for this game to be one of the best Bronco games ever.I know the offense can put up plenty of points on the Antlers,but the story is gonna be how the Dayton Defense stuffs those Antlers.We have beaten size and speed all year so why should we be intimidated by Tivy.This is our second back to back trip w/a coaching staff that has taken the Broncos to 13 straight playoff seasons.Broncos win this game by 13.13 seasons=13 point Dayton win.

Yes I have been around Bronco football for awhile but we all need to remember during 1967 two Dayton teams became 1.The former Colbert Tigers had alot of good teams and then the two became 1 and the talent level at Dayton skyrocketed from the previous years since with the credit of Coach Stewart over the last 13.We as fans keep wondering how will Dayton do next year and for 13 straight now someone rises up to be the leaders.This has been so much fun and even gets us older folks blood pumping wishing we could have played under Stewart's staff.

there was some big hits all night alright but my favorite was the John Gable hit on the Waller dude last year when the loud pop at the Berry Center was real loud and the guys helmet flew off as he staggered to his feet.

Every play #1 was shaking his head and trash talking trying his best to get a late hit for it .Brenham players kept trying to get him to stop.He wanted the ball every down.I don't miss much while watching a game.He did succeed twice on out of bound 15 yarders(late hits) in the 4th qtr.Dayton mistakes(hands to the upper body)on the punter gave Brenham a 1st down on 4th and long to set up the long pass 1st.td.The 2 late hits gave them the field position for other scores.

Yes all of you have valid choices,surely we have had quite a few real good atheletes come thru Dayton.Kenny Roberts-Ivory Durio-Kendall Elliott-Marshall & Terry Higginbotham-David(rabbit)Godfrey-Billy Bell are a few that I remember also.

The past 2 weeks against some great defensive teams-Terry & Brenham-Cody took control and made things happen for the Broncos performing well with all the pressure on him as the others teams defensive schemes were to shut down A.J and that was what happened against Lake Travis last year.The differance this year is Cody can and will run w/over 1,400 rush yds.-a dimension Gregory did not do often last year.I know some of you have your favorites at Dayton but how many smiles did they put on college coaches and scouts?In my opinion-Cody is the favorite and I have seen most of the names listed play at Dayton.And I certainly like you have been thrilled to watch all the other QB'S who etched their names in Bronco history.

We need a good loud crowd to come and stay late to support the Broncos and squash that song Na Na, Na Na Hey Goodbye.It does not say anything about class and is downgrading to the players.I believe we can beat anybody at this point as we have seen speed,size and have succeeded by 14+ points in every playoff game.Last week proved alot about the skills the broncos bring.Last year Lake Travis took A.J out of the offensive scheme and Brenham did as well but Cody & Cameron @ Ploch put up 42 on another good defense.If the defense continues to shine like it has Dayton will make History by moving on to the State Championship Game.I am sure Stewart will have a few surprises for Tivy.

I know that things are alot differant in early vs.later hs football games.Early Everman shelled Stephenville like by 60 pts.Last week the bulldogs come from behind to barely beat Stephenville.It is crunch time and any team can pull off the upset.Who will come out relaxed and execute,who will take advantage of poor field position and turnovers?Answer coming soon,but every team left can win it all.
