Just curios cause I see this foursome nearly everyday@my place in Moss Hill=A big doe,I mean big w/triplet fawns all same size.Never seen that before,just twins.Could it be another doe that traveled w/her got killed(on highway)& she adopted it as her own.There was a 4' puddle of water bout 3" deep & the fawns took turns playin in the water & would strike the water w/front hooves then jump around in circles=what a site to see w/no camera.Games lasted a good 10 min while mother watched @ the edge of my timberline/brush.Have almost 17 ac.Neighbors logger their timber on both sides & 260 ac old deer lease across 105 from my place.Can you say all the cat squirrels packed up & came to me.Co rd behind my place connects w a very tiny shallow creek that runs straight into a giant tract belonging to Arizona Creek HC,and they logged the part close to me.Also a sm pond is within 40 yds of my deer hunting condo built to put grandkids to sleep w/hunting w/shotgun only.Tried the bow hunting,never again.A lung shot lost me the biggest buck I ever witnessed.8 of us found a cpl places he stopped/laid dwn in a thicket.We looked hrs,then next day,then next day=no deer.1st ever i lost one.I could have killed him from up 12' in tree,out 25 yds w/any shotgun.Benelli nova 12 ga 3 1/2 mag pump put lots of meat on my table in season.We have a real smokehouse we eat fine

Hoping to get some arms stretched w/some big ole bass down@Lake Falcon Oct 24-27 Myself,Robanadana,Smokinbaby  & 3 others.Gary says he gonna show smokinbaby how Vidorians noodle 12# bass.We gonna map w/gps the fishing cover hot spots while lake is real low.Then when it comes up the wacking will on :D Last trip I smoked the smokinbaby on a sq bill crankbait that dives to 8' in shad pattern.Crank it down off rocky pts till rock contact,pause a sec or two,twich,twitch pause=BAM.Never caught 4-5's every cast for extended period.Caught 10 to smokinbabys 1.And I gave him my same crankbait in lime/chart.He says I had the right color,I say here & cut my wh/grey/silver lure off & handed it to him=here.Smokinbaby says oh hell no,you'd really let me have it if you start killin them on my lure.I must've caught 25.We then crossed a channel to another rocky point.While they weren't looking I put on a 3/8 oz spinnerbait & slow rolled it off rocks.Ole bucketmouth came out of the water shaking its monster head just inches from the metal edge of net & knocked her off the bait.Fish way over 10.PB 11 3 1/4 peckerwood point mar 1985 on 7" blue/black core lizard in 4' right in some buck brush=Rayburn.

Dad took a big job promotion(kid in the pkg)=you know the stuff Permian used to pull :D

I fished the tournament but we had our issues w/fuel.Topped of tanks@ the shell station in Batson.Turned out we had water in the fuel=not good w/all the boats running everywhere.Trolled 2 mi to Rayburn Park to catch a ride over to Powell Park to p/u the truck/trailer,then get a mechanic to drain the fuel & fix the water related issues on a fuel injected outboard.We caught lots of fish,but none over 3 lbs.Never seems to fail some folk(not catching)love to run wide open across a grass flat in 7' of water among 60 boats or more.Esp when they could swing out 100 yds and go around everybody.Over 5,000 entries less than the 7,000+ projected.Alot of the grass I used to fish is sparse to hardly any from the down lake levels sometime back.1st time I didn't get in the hourly $@McDonald Big Bass Splash

Outside the 1st 7 min of the fb game last yr.and a 15 yd punt by Crosby there was only 7 points each afterwards=3 1/3 qtrs.Crosby plays alot better w/the big home crowd.They don't travel well w/fans

Went to practice today and tempo was upbeat.ALL the fb coaches giving instruction/guidance esp to the underclassmen stepping into varsity shoes for the 1st time.And the last time a Bronco team didn't look very good early(no mickey mouse teams either)we had playoff success.I'll remind you when talking of success=most yrs we've had 17 to 21 seniors and I examine other 4a rosters we play that have 29-45 seniors.We may not have the turnout of a Friendswood/Ned/PNG/Angleton/Elkins/Aldine Ike etc etc but Dayton Staff has faired well w/young talent alot of years.I'm waiting for the year we have 30 srs for leadership 8)

Exactly these rankings are based off what teams did last year along w/ret starters.Any team can beat another till they get some game exp and learn their strengths/weakness.Every poll will undergo many changes after week 0 ;)

And you're making those comments off of a scrimmage.Tx City will be playing come 2nd round playoff game ;)

+1 What I got out of the scrimmage for Dayt"Where's the Spark"Pre-Scrimm workout Ned was loud/pumped ready for action.Dayt on the south end was like seeing a silent movie .

Ned should win by sealing the edges and not kicking deep.Better to give a little field position than allow big returns.Crosby secondary is always suspect.

As a 9th grader the kid had Earl Campbell type body,thunder thighs,but on a smaller scale.He'd run over you to get into the endzone ;)
