What a game! If you saw this one, you certainly got your money's worth! Game could've gone either way, it was a battle to the finish. Spring Hill is a very good ball club, but take out the hiccups of last night and Bridge City wins. It came down to who made the least mistakes. And these Panthers can gun you down from outfield as they proved numerous times last night! Cards gave the #1 team all they could handle last night, so now it's time to step it up another notch and go show them they can't take this away from BC! I believe Cards will take the next two...................we've seen their arsenal...................they haven't seen ours behind Matt! And let me say, awsome game Matt, you are something else to say the least! Good luck and go back to Hudson and take the next two!

Does anyone have driving instructions to both locations?

I am with you - BC wins in 3. Was reading the message board on Smoaky.com from a Spring Hill poster that attended the first game BC vs. OF. He made the statement that the noise of the propane bottles filled with beans and the whistles were very loud! Hope the town continues to support these guys as they take the next step.....................the fans are great!

Great game Cards! Bats were hot and defense was solid! I could go on and on about the hits and defensive plays, but the two that stand out in my mind are centerfielder Dustin Breaux who scooped a basehit up the middle and came up firing a bullet to home plate and Blake Snyder at first who jumped in the air to save an overthrow and keep the runner to one base! Like I said, the team played great, and it's plays made like the one's mentioned above that win championships! Keep it up and stay focused on Orangefield! Proud of all of you!

Cuero has a very good team that made no errors (that I saw) and made the most of our slipups. Cuero coach seems to have his best nine that he doesn't waver from which seems to be what the best teams do, and they used several different pitchers that all seem to bring something to the table in a positive way for the Gobblers. The Cuero players were all fired up and it was obvious they are ready for the playoffs! And the catcher...............................he has an arm and can fire the ball from his knees as well or better than most can throw standing up..............................very very impressive player (my opinion of him). Best of luck to the Gobblers in the rounds coming up!

Is this game still being played this Friday at Baseball USA? Have heard several different days mentioned and thought someone might know for sure.

I didn't get to jump on that thread, It isn't my job to stay glued to the screen. That was a really mature post.......................

No crying here unless it was HF thinking they may have to finish the game, but good old AD jumped in and helped them out so they could win, ha ha. Not that it makes much of a difference to BC, can you say who is NUMBER 1....................say it loud.................. BRIDGE CITY IS with or without your AD getting you the win. It's just a shame you won't know for sure unless the game is played out who the real winner in the game is.
