  1. i agree with dayton winning this one.  don't think it'll be a blow-out, though.  how about 24-14, that's if it doesn't rain:)
  2. I haven't seen dayton play this year yet.  i am basing my opinion on the record, the crosby game, and the fact that i haven't heard of a national recruit (dugat or a green) playing for dayton this year.  i'm a huge fan of this program, though.  love the head coach and the quality of kids there.  fun to watch them play.
  3. in order to get into the playoffs, waller had to beat brenham in their last regular season game or get help from other teams in the district.  they beat brenham (then ranked number 9 in the state) 15-14.  they always seem to have a competitive team even when they are down.  they have tough kids over there.  i don't know about the current staff because they have had some turnover since the last head coach was there but they usually have good quality coaches.  both coordinators have been there forever.  head coach was the o-coordinator when these two hooked up in 07.  offense is option, mid-line.  last time i saw'em the defense was four man front.  this year's team started 0-6.  now they are 5-6 and on a roll.  i don't think they are as talented as dayton but they will fight for four quarters.  i also think the district they played in the first round of the post-season is very weak.  lockhart was 5-5.  manor was 2-8 when they played brenham (c'mon!)  not sure but i think this might be a close game.  dayton doesn't seem to be as good as they have been in the past.
