That's something that Briles does very well lol I believe every QB he's coached since he was at UH has gone to the NFL, UT should take notes. UT is a thing of the past hate to say it but it's true and it won't change anytime soon.

Yeah I would've punished him but definitely would not have fired him that's just me though, he single handily turned my program into the best program in the state. So no I wouldn't have fired him suspended him and fined him but definitely wouldn't have fired him, you think bama fires Saban if something like this comes up? Exactly Briles is one of the few brilliant coaches out there no way you just let him go so yes IMO Baylor is dumb now they are going to go back to being irrelevant again.

Art Briles would get any big job that comes open in the next year, had he stayed at Baylor they would've ran Texas in the next few years hell they were already sort of running the state anyway lol. Speaking of Texas he might be in the running for UT job when it comes open this fall.

Some of you guys really don't understand that players commit to coaches NOT universities....most of the top programs all have the same stuff anyway, think about it was bama having top recruiting classes before Saban arrived? NO! Was Kentucky having #1 recruiting classes before Calapari arrived? NO! Players go to schools to play for coaches PERIOD! Now let me ask this why aren't coaches penalized for being able to go coach for any school they want while being paid millions? But you guys are quick to say kids are getting a 100k education what about the coaches who are being paid millions they're free to go to whatever university they choose. PS. Baylor is dumb as hell for firing Briles the dude is a genius

I've been wanting to post on this topic but someone banned me for kicking his arse in a debate so he decided to abuse his powers lmaooo never knew people WOS folks was so sensitive lol...however back to the topic at hand, Ozen will never hire a white coach and thats just the way it is and always will be. Neither will Central, so if PNG OL Coach is white tell him don't bother applying cause he's wasting his time. I disagree with this %100 but thats just the way things are, I actually think hiring a white coach would probably solve the problem at Ozen honestly but I doubt the community would stand for it.

We're not talking about you Ridge we're debating who would be a good fit for the program...you're saying Ozen should hire a guy that can get players in school when Ozen already sending players to college I'm just trying to understand your point and I know you personally so I respect your opinion I'm just waiting on you to justify why Ozen should keep hiring folks from within the area when it has worked in over 10 years try something new go get a coach from one of the big cities that know more football than the typical setx of doing things thats all I'm saying.

I agree I'm all for players going to school but one thing that is the biggest misconception among parents like yourself is that it's the coaches duty to get your child a scholarship...NO! A player has to be willing to market himself as I did my head coach didn't help me nor any of my classmates get scholarships thats on the players and parents. Now if that coach does decide to help the players then cool but at the end of the day thats not really his duty. Also Ozen has consistently produced college athletes since the school has opened so what you're saying Ozen needs is already there lol thats nothing new, we need a guy who is going to produce wins cause the athletes are there and Ozen will always produce college athletes no matter what. Winning will more than likely make it better for the players.

Ozen is already producing plenty of young men that are doing all the things that you just described so again you're missing the point...a coach is hired to simply do one thing and thats WIN.
