You're missing my point...point is I'm not sure any coach in the area has what it takes to bring a state title to Beaumont because the things they are teaching are so outdated. Hiring any of these coaches around the area will continue to bring in mediocre results i.e first and second round playoff exits. Go get a coach that knows something else besides the cliche SETX way of doing things.

Personally I don't feel many of the coaches in SETX possess the knowledge to build a powerhouse at any of the Beaumont schools, the things they are teaching kids in setx compared to the Katy's, Allen's, Desoto's etc of the world is rudimentary when you compare them to other places.

Pay the coaches more and they'll stay besides when was the last time BISD hired somebody without any ties to the area.

I agree with everything you said except for lack of talent, my graduating class produced 4 players that went to the NFL 3 whom are still playing in the NFL. The talent is there, it's the coaching! But you are right I've been saying it for a while BISD don't pay coaches enough so it'll be hard to hire quality coaches.

A lot of blame has to be placed on the guy hiring these people(Athletic Director) also they should've kept the first guy they hired anyway would've been a much better fit for Ozen than Suggs he was way too old for this job. Gotta go get a quality coach with a good resume if we want anything to change around Ozen.

The misconception of BISD schools being bad academic schools are ridiculous...how about this lets trade kelly & BISD kids and see who would have higher academics...you can get a great education at ANY school in BISD it's your choice. I know cause I got one so please stop the madness.

Soulja you're not listening...Decarlos was a PRO meaning he should be in the league making millions right. Him and Hunter not even a discussion, KT either, Kris is the only one that comes close to him but one thing Decarlos had over Kris was killer instinct. When you see Mike T or Bou ask him who's the most talented to player to come through Ozen and see what they tell you. Had Decarlos had grades he possibly would've went anywhere he wanted.

Lol there were only two good 6A teams in Texas this year and that was Atascosita & Desoto 6A ball in Texas is TERRIBLE....Aggie you're not understanding what is about to happen in Beaumont. Remember you guys were telling me that the talent had evened out in Beaumont and blah blah blah well now you're about to see what happens when Boutte is on the sidelines all of the best talent in Beaumont will be at WB and with the talent in Beaumont alone we can compete with any team in the state, not to even mention the kids that might come from the outskirts of Beaumont. (i.e Parquet) Just imagine Josh Boyd, Nijal, TJ, Toe Toe and Hunter all on one team or even something remotely close to that with Andre Boutte coaching them....WB will be a state contender pretty much every year once Boutte get things rolling there. Another thing how many times were Ozen not one of the best teams in the state/state champ contenders while Boutte was there? Maybe ONCE? Lol come aggie you're tripping.

But all that became null and void when the kid himself went on record and stated clearly why he chose to leave...so everything you just stated is irrelevant you don't think the district committee will see that statement he made? Smh stop making excuses and lets be fair if we gone criticize one player for leaving hold every kid to the same standard. And Sneed nor Lil C has been held to the same standard as Parquet

I've said this plenty of time Decarlos Frank was flat the best basketball player to walk the halls of Ozen outside of Perk. Kid was a pro just couldn't get his act together smh.
