Never saw Big Sandy play in my life but I can almost assure you they wouldn't beat none of the top teams in SETX I.E Ozen, Silsbee, Central....unless they gotta couple of D-1 players over there. So to answer your question no Big Sandy wouldn't be consider a tough opponent IMO.

At the end of the day Westbury Christian not a tough opponent unless there's two definitions of tough...mamba is Cy Lakes a tough opponent too then? Cause I vividly remember you saying they weren't and they beat Westbury so talk to me cause I'm confused. Buna has 7 state championships the most in 3a history does that make them a tough opponent for Central too? Exactly....

With the execption of teams like prestonwood etc that gets a plethora of D-1 talent TAPPS is and always have been WEAK...

Lol no I said that cause I watched them against Hightower & Cy Lakes at the aldine tourney in which Cy Lakes beat the brakes off them....so thats why I wouldn't consider Westbury Christian a "tough" opponent. But let me guess you consider Cy Lakes & Hightower tough opponents too right? Smh I don't speak on teams I know nothing about. Mamba 19 titles in weak TAPPS means what? Nothing...Bellaire ranked in the top 10 in TAPPS too we saw what happened when they faced Ozen.

Yeah we were missing a starter but we'll see what happens when we play them at full strength Ozen is at least 10-15 points better than Central IMO.

I watched that Patterson kid last year and man oh man....he play's like a guard in a big man body he probably had the most dunks in the tourney.

Westbrook have an athletes but more so for football a lot of those kids just stick to playing one sport. And it's already bad enough they don't get the elite bball players from middle school. In Beaumont if you're good in basketball your either going to Ozen of Central mainly Ozen though.

All I ever said about Central is that they weren't as good as their fans made them seem(which Ozen proved my theory to be right in the Regional Finals) & that their guard play is terrible this year. If thats snide remarks then so be it lol I call it how I see it, outside of Atwood Central ain't got much IMO.

I've never got on here and said anything bad about the kids cut it out Soulja, however I did disagree with some of the coaching. But the coaching staff have made some great strides since the start of last year's season which is why I haven't had anything negative to say about them. And idk if you can't read but I gave an explanation in the other thread, it's really simple if you just watch how Ozen plays. I'll give an even better example, take the 2012 Kentucky team that won the national championship Anthony Davis & Gilchrist took the least amount of shots on that team and still ended up being the #1 & #2 picks in the draft. Meanwhile Terrance Jones and Doron Lamb did most of the scoring, Josh is doing whats best for his team at the end of the day. And yes your comments are still asinine!

After watching Ozen today I can see why Comeaux leads the team in scoring. Josh plays down in the post for the most part doing dirty work....Comeaux has the ball in his hands more often Josh is playing out of position for the sake of the team. Don't get me wrong though Comeaux is a baller he does everything well. All in all Josh finished with 13 points and 6 assist. You can tell these guys have bought into playing as a team and doing whatever is best for the team. Guard play looked about as good as it did last year when I watched Ozen in this tourney. They seem to be clicking.
