I predicted this beating...i told all the other ozen faithfuls that were going to struggle for some time to come ozen needs some athletes and to answer you guys question WB is not that good ozen is just that bad Savaet needs to hire a coach thats from this area not any knock on nelson just dont think he's the guy thats going to turn things around...so last but not least ozen is in for a very long year and so is WB...i know some of you WB fans might not like it but they will be lucky to make the playoffs this year but congrats on the win

I am bias but Mr Beard is on another level than other high school seniors this season - WOW! you dont think its because he's older than everyone else? if that were the case, shouldnt Ozen be champs every year? everyone thinks ozen have all the talent if thats the case then they would have a solid qb every year right?

they have no standout players on the 4 or 5a levels

Last years team was not about a one-man team. True, Michaels was an offensive threat, and he has gone on to bigger and better things....but he was not ALL of the offensive production. I can tell you, his brother is not as good as he was. Like Bear said, this year is going to be about getting a young team some experience and preparing for the 2010 season. We will be OK this year, and we will lose some games. Our defense is definitely going to be one of our strong points this year, and with some experience at the skill positions, we should be in good shape for the playoffs. Stick around and see what the 2010 team looks like, cause from what I hear and see, we are gonna give some teams a run for their money. And NO, we will not be struggling for sometime...as you say. We are young and inexperienced, but we're gonna be OK this year. ok if you insist....the talent in beaumont is really going down especially after this 2009 class has left have you noticed that noone in beaumont is committed or even hold scholarship offers from D-1 programs? I wasn't trying to make it like that micheals man team im saying that i dont think his kind of talent will be around for a WB for a while and as you should know every good team has a superstar

why are these guys so hyped up i really dont understand? is it because they win a weak district every year? what about when they get to the playoffs and run into gilmer, carthage, and the waco la vega's not much of a powerhouse then please stop hyping these guys up its gettiing ridiculous honestly

last time they had a decent QB was in 07 london durham...but brook will most likely win this game not only because of the QB but because the lack of good athletes at ozen...i know its hard to believe seeing that it is ozen but they really dont have many athletes at ozen anymore its not the same ozen it used to be...ozen will struggle in football and basketball this season...rodney should really consider choosing better coaches if he plans to turn ozens football program around not saying that nelson is bad but i just think they need a real big name coach at ozen he needs to stop hiring around the area

OMG (laughing hysterically)! You are such a fool! In a 6-team district with four teams going to the postseason, It doesn't take a genius to figure out that all a team has to do is win 2....count em 2, district games and they're in! Surely you aren't suggesting that the Brook will have a problem winning 2 district games.......Nah, not in a weak-a$$ 21-5A. West Brook will go into the playoffs as the Runner-Up team, once again behind NS, more than likely with a 4-1 district record. Yes, we play some tough teams in our preseason once again. Yes, we will probably lose to Katy, Westfield, and NS. Aside from those three, ALL of the other games are definitely winnable.....superstars or not! yall wont beat eisenhower my prediction is that yall start the season 1-4 with only wins to ozen and then lose three district games NS for sure thats how bad WB is going to be you guys must forgot that the 09 class carried WB for three straight yrs even with chaisson coleman chavis and all those guys CM pretty made the WB program what it was the last few years
