The state tourney is always a good trip. Good food, company and good basketball and not caring who wins. SETX just messed that up. Lol.

I've always had a soft spot for Avinger. Coach Ken Lloyd left Huntington after winning state and went to Avinger. He won there also. He won many games there.

I got Silsbee in a close one. It will depend on how Navasota can handle pressure.

I like up tempo as long as it's controlled. But there is a need for both at times. I like to watch a fast paced game as long as it doesn't get sloppy and out of control. You can play fast paced and smart. But to me there is nothing worse than two teams going at it that's out of control.
