I would go with two. You could have two teams in same district ranked in top five. With one going you could have a team sitting home that is better than other teams that could move on....

How will their guard play be this year?

With adding a 6A should that effect the 3A numbers?

Pulling for Jasper but picking Carthage to win it.....Carthage is pretty deep.

AAW, when I was a teen I worked for the school during the summer....We cleand out old boxes of tropheys from under the stands and hauled them off....One I remember was a 1927 trophey about 6" high....where we had played Silsbee in a tourney....I guess they mailed the tropheys back then....wish I wouldhave  kept some of them.

Either 76 or 77 they finished 36-1......We got lucky and beat them in the Lufkin tourney. That was their only loss....I think they beat us by 25 or so later that year.

Anyone old enough to remember him playing at Broaddus? Man among boys..lol....One of my favorite memories  was when we had a tourney and Broaddus was paired with a Houston school. I was sittting close to the Houston school and could hear them laughing about playing a little 1A school...They were going to bust the clock on them.....their mood soon turned somber after the game started...lol.....Dove, you would have agreed that it was real basketball... ;D

Local ranked teams....how far back does your winning tradition go?..... We (Huntington) have had some decent teams lately but not anything like the distant past....I think 79 was the last regional tourney appearance.....
