1. Texcan you know me and my clan are legends dont you? It's just that nobody listens to us.  ;D
 2.

No-Look No-Look No-Look.... I'm not quite as old as you (as a matter of fact you probably have kids my age) but I was coached by a man (who threw clip boards in practice because of turnovers (yes i am aware that having a clipboard at practice dates him but how else would he chart turnovers during practice if he didn't have a clipboard))you probably know who has the same view of the game as you do... Times change, cars now have power steering, TV's come with color pictures, we don't use lead base paint, the gyms that use to have box fans stuck in the walls to pull air through for a breeze are now air-conditioned and turnovers have become what makes our high school basketball game watching experience exciting.  Without turnovers, teams would win by a greater margin and people wouldn't come to games. Turnovers keep games close, unpredictable and suspenceful.  Turnovers are why I go to games... No-Look, your G string is tightened a little sharp...
Some clever stuff there, txcan - but surely turnovers can't be the only reason you go to games. ::)
No it's not tiger....he also loves the concession stand.  ;D
 3.
It will be easier to stick your neck out with a prediction after this week....I'll go ahead and make mine... Huntington Jasper Hudson Central Center Diboll Kirbyville Central and Hudson may flip flop, but I'll take Hudson because of tradition, they always find a way. Now those of you who wouldn't predict (no look) can tear my predictions apart...
My predictions aren't usually very good...lol...but I'm thinking the same way you are. Big game tuesday night with Hudson at Huntington.

Very little "one shot" trys.....Where did the mid range jumper go?  Where are the pure shooters? .......these still are practiced in some places and you can usually see them in Austin........ I know, I am  a relic and the game is passing me by... ;D
Come on, No look.  Get with the new world.  Get into some technology.
I know, I need to embrace technology....my smart phone is smarter than me....
 5.
Okay, a proposal to have shot clocks only in certain h.s. divisions.
Maybe 5A?  With the exception of Marcus Flower Mound... ;D

For the reasons AAW and eastbb stated is why there needs to be no shot clock...
I bet there were people who said we didn't need the 3 point line either.
A shot clock would benifit the bigger stronger faster and hurt the smaller schools more.    The three point line is fine. They just need to bring back the mid range jumper...lol

 9. Probally know more the next two games. I think Huntington,Hudson, and Jasper only have one loss.....
 10. On the rebroadcast, you think the kid can still make that shot at the end?
 11.
Here is video of the last shot courtesy of Jared Ainsworth of the Beaumont Enterprise: [Hidden Content]
Great shot!!!
 12. This game being played on Friday 13th. Will that have any bearing on who wins?
 13.
I would be interested to know what the traffic count on this board has been in the last 48 hours versus an average day.
Second only to a Tebow game...lol
 14. So I guess everyone will be wearing their lucky shirt, shoes, lucky shirt-pants or combination?  Lucky cap for home games..........not picking a personal favorite but I'm feeling HJ  67    Silsbee  63. HJ will hit a couple crucial free throws and get a steal with less than ten seconds on the clock.

Jasper started hitting threes and got on a roll.... A different style of calling over there.
threes?  Hmmm... ??  starting something new here for Jasper?
I think they had two three's first half but hit five (I think) in the last four minutes......
It wasnt that long ago that I can remember Huntington winning games against Jasper by making half court threes
Nash, those were some good games.....how many ot's was it?
