for basketball. Like um or not?  If so, which type is good? Harmful?    Anybody remember Sedric Johnson from Arp....Watched him as a sophmore at the state tourney. He was quick and could play above the rim. Awesome player....They made it back his sr. year and he was muscled up andf looked like a beast....only problem was he had lost his quickness and wasn't  half the player he was his soph year......I'm not against using weights (they have their place)but not so much as district approaches..........I know, MJ lifted on game days.

After seeing both teams play ......Liberty by as many as they want....

Huntington is a 3A with about 550 or so......That also includes Pride school which is not elgible to play sports.....there has been a couple times that they could have dropped down if it weren't for Pride.......

Any surprises this year?  Mexia has their stud back I believe. Not sure what Athens lost... Then there's that weak district 21 3A...lol....18 3A should be better overall but dont see any powerhouse teams....

I look for this to be a close game. Kirbyville probally wins, but who knows?  A couple of turnovers at the wrong time it could go either way.
