Not if the half courters are falling and a certain peace officer organization is involved.
Still not as good as tilted rims and home grown refs....  ;D
 2. Turnovers were the difference....Center throwed several different looks at them on the defensive end.
 3. Thats terrible........will pray for him and his family. May Gods mercy and grace abound in this situation.
 4.
I say Center, Hudson and Jasper.  No upsets tonight IMO.  Never know though, everyone is close, a few teams have a slight edge.
Good call, Central had trouble with Centers half court 1-2-2.....Center made tons of layups.....heard Diboll had some tough sleding at Hudson.....
 5. Center @ Central Diboll @ Hudson Jasper @ Kirbyville I say Jasper wins but the other games is a toss up.
 6.
Thanks for posting those standings. The second half will be even more entertaining than the first half which was great. If you like hard fought, competitive HS basketball, this district is your ticket. IMO Hudson is going to really be pressed to hold on to that first place spot and if J. Davis even misses a quarter in a game against the top teams, Hudson will be in big trouble. Hope to see some folks out at the games.
Lark, What do you think Diboll will do differently this game at Hudson? I saw the first game at Diboll. If Diboll can keep the turnovers down it will help.....seems that Hudson scored a lot of trash buckets.....should be a close game.
 7. Central has everybody at home except Kirbyville........they played five away games the first half....
 8.
Center is my pick to take 1st place in district, possibly going undefeated in the 2nd half.
Center could win the district but doubt that they will go undefeated in the second round.....
 9. If I lost any weight It would come from pure muscle.
 10. Second round will be interesting. Every team except Kirbyville has a chance. Central is 1-5 but have lost some tight games. They lost to Hudson and Huntington on the road by a total of three points. They lost to Center by four or five at Center. They have all home games left except Kirbyville. They are going to beat some people the second round.....
 11. Rider, thats not nice to beat someone at their homecoming.......
 12. Huntington graduates one player this year.....they should be good next year with the ones coming up..should be a good shooting team..
 13.
Huntington 52 Central 50 Huntington made the plays and FT's down the stretch to win the game.  Huntington PG shot the ball very well tonight.  Best game of the year I thought for the Ellis kid.  Huntington dominated the offensive boards. It was a goog game.  Probably saw the best young PG around in Centrals PG.  He saw the floor better than I have seen anyone in a long time.  If he continues to get better he will be really good.
Centrals point guard is a freshman.......

You have been doing well as of late.....
Time to get off the bandwagon.....Hudson lost by nine.... ;D
 15.

I willing to say HF WILL be a playoff team
Although Silsbee was not at full capacity and was missing a key player...and I again did not agree with all of the subbing....our big men showed up to play tonight and showed up big despite all of the above! HF boys did a wonderful job...you played your heart out! Lets keep the momentum guys! Great effort!
Making the Dove 2012 prediction look pretty credible.
He's been trying to tell you guys.....lol
 16. Central has their last five out of six at home. I think they play Kirbyville there......They are going to beat some teams the last half.
 17.
Hudson by 16 Huntington by 9 Diboll by 26
Aggie I'm getting on your band wagon. You have been doing well as of late.....
 18. The Center /Diboll will be a big one.....If I'm reading the schedules right, Central has five out of their last six at home...Center has four out of six at home .....both Diboll and Huntington has three of six at home... Jasper has two of six at home......and Hudson two of six at home....
 19.
Double antsey Triple Stampsey!!!!
LOL!     Sea Bass: You gonna eat that? Harry:  I, uh, well I dont know, I crossed my mind.
 20. Lloyd Christmas: "Whats the chances of a girl like you and a guy like me winding up together"? Mary Swanson: Oh, I would say ...abouttttt one and a million." Lloyd: "Soooooooooo, you're saying there's a chance!".........................lol....I think everybody except maybe Kirbyville still has a decent shot......There will be several big games next round. The Diboll @ Huntington game could be the difference for both clubs. meadowlark, where will the Diboll Center game be played?
 21. After Friday there is a good chance that Diboll and Center will be tied for second. The second half will be interesting. Whoever takes care of business will get in.....
 22. Davis had 11 and Lowe had 22................Lowe had an exceptional night percentage wise.....
 23.
Unfortuantly turnovers has been Huntington's plague.   Did they do pretty good on the Davis kid or was he not really a factor?
Davis didn't hurt that bad. I dont know how many points he had.....the third quarter was the difference.....Houston kid(post) got in foul trouble early......they beat us pretty bad on the offensive boards. Got a lot of putbacks....
