1.
who will make the playoffs?
Cleveland, Coldspring and Splendora in that order is my guess.........
 2.
Here's how TABC sees it.....[Hidden Content]
I guess they were afraid to pick the third place team....lol
 3. jdog, give us the scoop on this one. Football guys will have one practice?
 4. Thats what I like about SETX. Lufkin and Tyler area you would have to hold a gun on somebody to get some basketball press this time of year......
 5.
My picks to make the regional tourney: Cleveland- district 22-3A champ Silsbee- district 21-3A champ Crockett- district 20-3A champ Lufkin Hudson- district 18-3A runnerup Semis would pit Cleveland vs. Crockett out of the top bracket, Silsbee vs. Hudson out of the lower bracket. Here is last year's bracket to give you some perspective: [Hidden Content] This is not necessarily the best 4 in the region, but who I think will make the tourney. Some teams will have an easier route while other top teams will eliminate one another.
I thought Huntington would make it with that 6'9" post and 6'5" point guard that moved in from Louisiana.............. ;D  Hudson will be 4or5 deep but their bench may lack depth.......not sure they can make it this year to reg?
 6.
Cardinal 18 this is one of your coaches.  Shut up and stay off of this website.
He's just repeating what he heard one of the coaches say.... ;D
 7. Thats tradgic news. Will pray for his family.
 8. Scrimmages are about one step above summer league. Teams usually experiment with several different things. Look at several different players. If it was a real game it most likely would be played differently......A scrimmage is just a scrimmage.....
 9. If this game is at HJ dont get too excited.....I can smell thatgood  home cooking from here!..... ;D
 10.

Mr. Nash speaks the truth... ;)
Wait a minute- two of my biggest nemisises agreeing with me.  Whats up?
I'm sorry, guess I just lost it there.......I got to feeling all fuzzy inside... ;D
 11. Whats the scrimmage schedule for this week?  Kelly, Madisonville and Slocum come to Huntington tuesday.
 12.
they had a solid season last year, but i'm assuming that Texas is ranked this high based on who they have coming in?
Didn't they get a good point guard?
 13.
Carthage - and I probably won't get my guys for a long time again this year.
JackFan, how will the soph player this year? He was very impressive last year as a freshman.
 14.

%100...no football no basketball or at least that's how it was when I was in athletics
Are you saying that at East Chambers, if you want to play basketball or any other varsity sport, you HAVE to play football? Am I understanding you correctly?
When my son was a sophmore we received a letter in the mail stating that to play other sports you had to play football...the fb numbers were down and they were trying to bring it up......neadless to say it took about an hour to iron that little wrinlkle out....I support  the fb program but that tatic didn't work....things are a lot better the last few years.
 15. Huntington has one starter and one sub that play fb on the varsity level.....
 16. Who will be starting late due to fb playoffs or playing bb without all your starters?.......
 17. When my son played(before things chanded for the better) I would rent the practice gym at least two nights a week. There was nothing they could do about it....AD would come up to make sure that none of his fb guys were there.......
 18.

Was the guard white? If so that would be Christian Sanders. He is a very talented ball player and a good point guard. They also have another point guard who is talented as well named Anthony Culberson. Their bigs are Jeremy King, Aaron Durley, Chase Kammerer (sp?), and they have one more. They lost Trey Guidry to St. Pius, but it might be for the best because it will open up playing time for some of their bigs. Talk about an embarassment of riches, that would be St. Thomas. Kelly will have their work cut out for them, but that is a long way off yet.
The one guard whom I paid the most attention to seemed to be bi-racial.
Canadian mixed with a little French?
I will investigate........was a half court shot considered?......I will confer with Bo-hack, he was the daddy of the tourney..
BoHack?  I assumed that, back then, he would have been in Boston helping Parish polish his game
nah...you only have so many teeth that can be knocked out....
What team do you support for no-look?
Huntington
Hmmm! I didn't realize yall had internet access up there yet :D
Usually a few hours time warp.........we get Saturday Night At The Movies on Sunday on Sunday morning.
No-look, is it true that when a plane lands in Huntington, the Captain comes on the microphone and says, we have arrived in Huntington, please set your watches back 100 years?
If a plane landed in Huntington it would be like the first appearance of the Horseless Carriage...panic and awe...lol
I bet yall still think Ronald Reagan is President?
We are not that far behind....we know that Bush is the president....
