Am going to miss Phil (the announcer). His voice was a classic. Hope they do something nice for him.

Reading the NW-Sabine thread brought this one to mind. About four years ago Huntington beat Woodville 5-3 in a district game. Both teams were still contention for a possible play off spot. Refs didn't break a sweat......both teams had some key players out. Neither coach wanted to push the issue........I thought there was going to be a riot from both sides....lol

We all want to be entertained with good bb play. I dont like the stall but if you feel like thats what its going to take to go to the next round so be it. The defenseive team has an option to allow or make them play.......congrats to both teams on a successful season.

Excuse me but when you speak of the "great team" shouldn't that be the one that advanced? I sense the inference here is that the "great team" lost to a "mediocre (and lucky) team who then, by virtue of the inferred luck, "gave" the chance to advance to a lesser than "great team". If that is true, then did the same thing happen in the regional final last year to the team, who a few games before, beat the "lucky" team by a substantial margin(at the Montagne Center) only to lose to the "lucky" team in the final? HMMMMMMMMMM can't remember anyone postulating that theory at that time. There had to be some help from "unknown sources"

Why didn't Sabine come out on the ball and make them play?

Should be a good game. Both teams have faced stiff competition every game. Jasper could be flat comming of the big win.

Several Jasper players turning double back flips. Bet that would make a coach nervous............Saw a few ankles broken in the game....

because he wanted the three point win...........

Jaspers 6'6" move in from Louisiana becomes elgible for this game. He will help Jaspers inside game and help on rebounding.

I heard from a reliable source that the Jasper bb players will be practicing baseball tomorrow.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Cleveland has a great point guard known as "little Smokey"? When Cleveland beat Silsbee tried to tell you guys that Cleveland wasn't that good.. Robinson had broke hand and Silsbee missed 26 shots in the paint and 17 free throws..They have not played anyone since then and we have all seen cold springs and liberty play..Absolutely no reason for Hj to be overly concerned about CLeveland ...they are just ok...HJ absolutely beats CLeveland If you approach this game and not take them serious you will be paying to get into the regional tourney.

We played HJ and Cleveland this year. About the same result for both games. Both shot the ball extremely well from outside. Clevelands big does a good job down low and #22 can light it up from outside. I must give the edge to HJ because they are playing well and have playoff experience.......72-67.

Noticed your not showing Hudson any love. Whats up with that?....lol I think that if HJ plays Hudson, they should seek a special exemption and play the game in Hudson where the officiating is known for being so equitable. Nothing like playing at Hudson and seeing a couple home town boys come out with zebra shirts and a whistle.....

Please dont throw any f words around at such a special time as this....... ;D

Thirty plus I would imagine. He can play at the next level..........
