Lots of changes for local teams. SFA MBB has lost its two top assistant coaches with coach Cox going to UTEP and Mason going to Georgia. No doubt that their salaries were doubled or tripled. Mason was a recruiting machine and will be missed for sure. Sometimes change is a positive thing for all parties... Looking forward to watching some good basketball in the WAC. Football will also be be very interesting.

I can just see it now. Alien: Honey, get the kids together and we will take a Sunday drive and buzz earth and give them some excitement. Lol

What’s the odds that the WAC can get more than one bid? Hopefully the teams will have a good non conference record.

Had multiple offers. Illinois, New Mexico etc. The WAC should be very competitive this year. No clear favorite as of now and several teams that could win it. Teams better bring their A game every game.

I guess they are doing something right. Highly unlikely that that many sports are qualifying for championships. Or maybe they have tapped into the Yates pipeline. Lol
