    Before the game the sound system malfunctioned so the student section led the crowd with the National Anthem. A thing of beauty! Love the energy the students brought!

    I have a question about the rankings. Is there ten people that vote? I'm seeing where Diboll got 15 votes and others 7 or 13. Just courious as to how it works. Thanks,  Melvin.

    Silsbee's depth will be a factor if the Yates game happens. Once all players (FB) get tuned in they will be fine.

    Not able to confirm that many wins. They may indeed be 15-1 but no record yet.

    Broaddus should have a good year. Got some guys that can play. Hope coach can keep his blood pressure in check. Lol

    They are 14-1. Saw them play a couple weeks ago. They start a 6'3", 6'4", 6'6", 6'5" and a 6'. Saw where they beat #5 Ponder by 16 this week. They aren't ranked with TABC. That may change.

    The Center gym is very nice with the exception of the visitors side seating. Resembles a practice gym seating. Maybe four bleachers high compared to the home side with much more seating. They usually fill up the home side so seating may be a problem. I know several that are going that not affiliated with either team.

    Both teams live off pressure. Baring an huge upset this will be the game for the ticket to state. Hughes and Serialle are better this year but I think it's Silsbee that prevails because of their depth. Bush is a player! If that game happens how many D1' s will be on the court?
