I'm with you Diamond-J...strategy on every pitch. I guess you have to know the game to love the game. Even though the strike zone is the same, I would much rather throw to the 8 foot tall guy than the three foot. ;D Baseball= ho-hum. I was an all-star first baseman in Houston as a teenager, so I knew a little about the game. My interest led me to focus more on basketball= exciting, challenging, and more girls came to basketball games............enough said! the girls are swarmin at hj games...i don't know what your talking about..

saturday game hj beat splendora 12-1.

a LCM kid had jump around last year...that was a pretty good one. but by far-bring the pain by lil flip.

because payne is nasty. it impossible to dribble a basketball when you have him diving on the court spearing people.

its early baseball season which means tournys every weekend. but we are trying.i was pretty dissapointed about saturday.

yeah we knew we had a game but we were just gonna dash immediatlly to the montagne. but i guess that wont work. there is still one more game. we're trying lazeek!

OF went 0-4 (do you want a pat on he back for being competetive?) against HJ and Silsbee!!!!! Hey lets give Coach of the Year to the coach that went 0-4 against the Co-District Champs!!!!! I said it once and I will say it again. I knew Ray when he was an assistant at LCM to Jeff Burke (Ex-Hawk BTW) and he is a great coach and a even better guy. He did a great job but he lost to the big dogs (yet 2 out of the 4 games were close) and beat up on all of the little puppies. Congrats on making the playoffs and winning a playoff game against Coldspring but I doubt that there will be any post season awards for the OF coaching staff!!! Here is my opinion on awards for the district. I likely will miss a few....... Coach of the Year--Todd Sutherland MVP--Jarvis Benard Offensive--Shannon Robinson (Only because Jarvis cannot win both) Defensive--Not Sure Newcomer--DK Howard Freshman--Not Sure defensive--Ricossa or Payne
