Heaven forbid we hurt anyone's feelings!! I will say the same to my kid (which is on the team) when he ain't cutting the mustard...Football is life in my household, but I get that it isn't in other households. Some people just want it more than others. But imagine if all those kids could get on the same page, Huffman could be dangerous..

As of right now they are. But Not sure they will be there in a few weeks. Lcm, Lumberton and Huffman imo can still win this district.

Not sold on Splendora right now.. but they are definitely in the driver's seat for district championship atm... time will tell

Our O line is a suspect on run blocking. There Big, but not strong enough.. But if we would of just dinked and dunked the 2nd half and try to eat up clock and not make stupid mental mistakes we would've won. But hindsight is 20/20. Our Coaches had a good game plan and it showed in the 1st half. Now the 2nd half is another story. Everyone can say we should of done this or that, but if you take the mental mistakes away that the players made in the 2nd half tonight we have a different narrative today. Had 3 total turnovers in the 2nd half with a pick 6. The pick 6 was a lame duck throw that should not of been thrown up for grabs in zone coverage. Take that play away and again different ball game. Another pick was in our on endzone when we were driving. And another one was right before the game ended in the 4th, and who's knows we could've at least try a field goal. But that all said, we see what our team can be, but we just don't have that killer instinct. We are a finesse Team, that needs to get meaner in some positions to play this game.

Looked to me like we lost more than Lumberton won.. But hats off to y'all. Kept fighting, and we can never play a complete game...

Lumberton Is suspect against the pass, if we move the pocket and attack the middle of field (not just the sidelines) we might be able to put some points up.

Hopefully it's a competitive game. As of right now I see either team winning but must give edge to Lumberton.. From all I have seen both make several mistakes during game. This game will be determined on how well Huffman O plays. As all our games over the past season and 1/2 have been. Flashes of greatness, but no consistency.

As of right now 1. Splendora 2. Lumberton 3. Huffman 4. Lcm 5. B.C. 6. Livingston Now what happens this week coming up will determine a lot. If Huffman can put their BIG boy pants on for once and beat Lumberton, I think we will win district.. But I'm very optimistic because I see the talent and what could be from this team.. Just we make alot of mistakes, and also See to many players, what looks like to me that are scared of full contact.

Lol you are probably right.. Honestly we should be 5-0 or at least 4-1, but our O cant stay on the field at crucial moments in games.. I've seen Lumberton in person and on film, and looks like it will be a good game with plenty of mistakes on both sides...

We have 2 weeks to prepare for Lumberton.. I should Expect to see many different packages and plays from our Offense, but probably not gonna happen. Would love to see some "outside the box" Offensive play calling..

Nice job LCM.. You report sounds a lot like Huffman.. We should of blown HJ out but play calling is atrocious..

We dont ever seem to locate the other team weakness and exploit it!! Concordia was beat imo, but they found our holes on D and kept at it. We stopped them several times in the 2nd half, but O couldn't score. Instead of molding kids to fit this Offense we should mold Offense around our kids strengths..

Concordia made adjustments that hurt us.. Didnt see anything from our side as far as adjustments.. Imo we were out coached.. Middle of field is wide open but no route ran that way only to sidelines.. No qb runs, this team we had beat..

Well it's good to have parents that love football and want their kid to be the best, and willing to do whatever it takes (as long as the kid is on board) to be successful. Next would be Coaches that actually play the best players, and not start kids who have "status" or parents have "status". We have several decent players quit in Huffman over the years for this or that, and some just didn't feel like they got a fair shake. I get it because my kid was one of those. He got overlooked again and again, from 8th grade till 10 grade. Well mid season 10th grade till 11th grade they couldn't ignore him anymore, now they need him. But I still remember all the times he came home down and depressed, because he couldn't understand why he was not playing, or getting ignored by coaches, when he was just as good or better than the other kids. Honestly he's been in Huffman his whole life and I think last year the main football coaches finally knew his name, and talked to him.

Think it will be a good game. I Expect the team with the least amount of mistakes to win it

They make a lot of mistakes. Honestly they probably wouldn't have scored but we had a turnover deep on our side and a penalty on a Coach which put them about 15-20 yard line... We dropped a cramp load of passes last night also. We had plenty of opportunities to blow them out. I think y'all should be ok.

We grinded this 1 out. Once we can get more consistent on the Offensive side we could make some noise. With that being said QB play was very good along with tackling on D and special teams. To many mistakes imo, dropped balls,etc. Those things can be fixed, and we are trending upwards.. Hopefully we can keep it going into the bye week!

This really could've been a huge blowout, but after the 1st drive in 2nd half most starters were getting pulled, and we ran mostly. With that being said we did overcome an early turnover and D was pretty dominant.. I really like when we run a 4-3 instead of 3-4.
