vj is going to a great college shortstop.lamar has some nice looking freshmen on the team.gilligan needs more local kids out in the field.

if testa gets it going the cards will tough to beat down the stretch.when is gilligan going to move on with regards to needham?this isnt meant to bash a kid but gilligan has given him every opportunity.he's just not a good pitcher.give another player the chance to step up.seems like weve asked this question for the last 4 years.

sometimes its hard to tell wether or not its just for fun.was hoping this thread would help bring some insight to the future of lu enrollment.i personally think football is going to keep more kids at lu.once they start forming the band and drill team i expect good increases.i also agree the economy plays a small role but not significant.

each year the pompano club puts out a list of members kids and grandkids that are graduating in the pa news.they tell what high school thye go to and what college they will attend.normally ut,atm and other big schools dominate the chooses.what really surprised me was almost all the kids had lamar listed as there college of choice.hopefully this is good indication of the strides lamar is taking.

again,traditionally lamar does not play a weak non-conf schedule.this years non-conf is not the caliber we normally play.that is why due to our rep in the baseball circles gotten ourselves ranked.what matters is we continue to get better every week and win as many conf games as possible.then once the tourney gets here our depth at pitching should carry us on.so contrary to what terror says we dont suck.we got a good team that will get better as the year goes on.will we end up being a great lamar team?not sure but the potential is there.

man, it must be nice to know everything about everything.terror, why dont you go get a job with the obama cabinent and put your skills to better use.

i agree.tidwell has it going like i thought roc would.the ladies are gonna be real good for years to come.if the current regime at lamar would have been here when branch was he wouldve gotten more time.unless there are other circumstances there no way to judge a coach after 1 year.

bottom line is we dont have the players to win like we want to win.my expectations for lamar are to be a top 2 slc school every year,win the tourney atleast every 3 years,win 20 games every year and make the nit every other year.those arent unreasonable expectations imo.we have the best facility and fan support in the conference=we should have the best athletes.and before terror chimes in im not knocking other slc schools but lamar puts a lot into hoops and we need to see the fruits.can roc get us to this level?i say yes but this incoming recruiting class is his most important.from what im hearing if we sign all the kids we have verbals on the bar will be raised at lamar.now does this automatically mean we will win,no.we have to go out and show it on the court but having better athletes will improve our chances.i think the x's and o's are there.ive watched every home game this year and cant say we were ever out coached.we just didnt have the players.part of roc's job is to get the players here.hell that is his strength and thats were im most disapointed.im for giving him 2 more years and see if were making progress.i do think we will be better next year.we really are only losing 2 players that contributed(dawkins/brown) and they were both undersized.good luck to roc this spring and i hope for his sake it equals a better fall.

png decided to play 7th grade football and guess who made the decision the next day to do the same.it starts with an N and ends in a D.dont think that ned isnt gonna upgrade there stadium.why do you think png let burnett go?because ned was having more success and thats not gonna work.were like two very jealous brothers.if one gets someting the others got to have it.its why imo its the best rivalry in the state.

wouldnt trade coker for woodard.he's on he way down while woodard is on the rise.

ive been the the tourney the last 2 years but think ill pass unless lu makes the championship.cant get excited about backing in to the slc tourney as 7 or 8 seed.
