lu cards

hbu is averaging 3 runs a game versus mainly slc opponents so we held them below that number.they are giving up 10 per so we didnt fair so well there.its a win but nothing to exciting.big weekend coming up with nichols st coming to bmt for the slc opener.

its nice to get the pub but this team at some point will struggle.pitching has been good but were still very inexperienced.i like our chances come may.

terror,youre wrong on the cards non-conf schedule.this is the first year that lu is playing a weak non conf schedule.normally we play rice,uh,ul-l,st johns,kansas st,a&m,etc.

big 12 wont come to beaumont so gilligan told them to shove up there a s s.its not like football where you get a big payday to play them and they wont return games.

defending ivy league champs come to beaumont.should be a better test for lu this weekend.

i didnt think the crowd was that bad.the team played great defense.i thought miles looked great and mcthay had a good game also.i really like the idea of miles and dawkins on the floor at the same time.if we keep playing solid d i like our chances of making the tourney(slc).

over on the mcneese board were getting ripped to shreds.the rivalry is back!!!!i love it.the cowgirls are pissed they lost there honey hole.they better keep a steady flow of transfers because there not getting jack from se tx.once we finish our facilities there gonna lose the houston area also.

we will have a few transfers this year but lamar will pick up more in 2010.ill bet anyone right now that nobody will outdraw lamar in 2010.wont make the same bet the next year but we own 2010.

with roc,tic,silvy,kermit,honea,williams and tubbs we have more coaching knowledge on campus than ever.dawkins is in a major slump.i thinl he finally wore down.mcthay is a non-factor,brown has no help.custer is playing like custer.i was on hall early but he seems to be the only player getting better.the first 12 games we hit shots and played good d and we all were singing the coaches praises.now we cant hit jack s h i t and its the coaches fault?the only negative ill say about the coaches is we better start recruiting better players.we are undersized everytime we hit the court.i dont see pace,riley,mahoney,nwevo,and maybe custer getting us where we need to go.we need better athletes!

no one is more frustrated than me but roc's still our guy.i like the changes made this off-season by bringing in a guy to work the grades(honea) and getting tic to recruit.just gotta give it some more time.if things arent better in 2 or 3 years then i forsee roc going back to a big time program as an assistant.i hope he's here for a long time.

ive noticed we had 3 or 4 verbals that didnt sign.i dont see where they signed elsewhere.can lu decide to not offer?does a player have to make a certain score on the sat to sign a scholarship?
