i betting that sfa,mcneese and a few other schools are hating that lamar is back in the game.were soaking up a lot of players with that lu gravy that normally would be going to other schools.ive also heard some kids leaving other slc schools to come back to lamar.

with school still out 6000 will be tough.when the students return will have some big crowds.the espn game vs texas st in feb will put 8k to 9k in the seats.

i expect a good game but the homecourt winning streak continues.

9-4 going into conference is decent.the indiana st loss will haunt this team and the way we layed down like a whore in a alley against memphis,louisville and kentucky makes me question this team.despite that i see us going 12-4 or 11-5 in conference.we will win 20 games which will be nice.i look for miles and harper to contribute more in conf play and i look for hall's playing to time to dwindle.he's a step slow on defense and no threat to score.i hope he finds his game but at this point i dont see it happening.

i have no knowledge of jc football but its damn nice to have football players back on campus.

i having a hard time understanding the issue with the masters requirement.the board has said it would reconsider if the applicant pool wasnt satisfactory.we arent just hiring a football coach.were hiring someone to oversee all sports at png.our kids deserve the the best person for the job.remember, its about the kids!if the current specs dont work out then we repost and go that route.all these conspiracry theories are fun but i feel the district is feeling the pressure to get this right.if the super and board botch this its gonna be ugly for them.lets give it a chance and quit complaining about what might happen.funny thing is there were only 12-15 people that showed up at the last school board meeting and 1 spoke.i was there and i let the board members know what i expected as a tax payer.make your voice heard other than this website.

teams for roc to consider a home/home-utep,ut pan am,smu,uh,rice(again),tcu,ul-l,la tech,uno,tulane,unt,ulm,tulsa,ualr.theres plenty of mid-majors that would draw good crowds.playing the big boys is great but if there not willing to come to bmt-screw em.maybe play one for some $$$ but if enough mids go this route things would change.

stump has been my choice since day one.reasons to come#1 he is a tj boy and png is full of old tj grads.#2 facilties.#3 you can win state at png before you'll win at wb.wb is a small fish in a big pond in 5a.theyve been loaded and cant get past those monsters.#4 fan support.you can coach in packed stadiums everyweek.#5 only show in town/two feeders to do as you please.the talent in bmt floats around.in a few years wb will be the odd man out,like in the past.#6 you come in and get png going right youll be a god.this wasnt meant to knock wb.they got it going good but stump was one of my childhood heroes so i would love him to coach my son.

its very easy.just win.Ive been saying this for years.16 or 17 wins wont cut it.we need 20+ wins per year,finish at the top or near the top every year in the sLC,and post season play(NCAA,nit or the new one).do that for a few years and people will show up consistently.
