i was looking at the 2010 schedule for png and found the 10/16 game versus ozen is on saturday @300pm(new bmt stadium).lamar is playing south alabama the same day in bmt(time not released).i cant stand high school games on saturday and im gonna be pissed if i have to choose.i could care less what you name the stadium just dont have games there during the day on saturday.im sure all the jr league players and coaches will be thrilled also.

lamar university has officially moved into the 21st century.ill take one of everything!!!

ive been waiting for the lupa to lamar pipeline to flow.hopefully there are many more to follow.

the booster club was discouraged before faircloth got here.i was told in his interview he was asked about having a booster club.his reply was,i dont see how you can be successful without one.people tend to get excited when a new coach spends his spring break repainting the fieldhouse and girls weight room.he has lead by example so the community will do what they can to help.if faircloth leaves then were better off for him coming here and know what to look for in our next coach.

in its first year png booster club has donated a ton of stuff to the school.new scorers table for basketball/volleyball.new tent and ice chest for cc/track.state of the art pitching machine for baseball/softball.back stop for softball.rain suits for golf.video equipment for football.portable soccer goals for turf.every program got there wish(boys and girls).with both middle schools almost complete the jr high athletics will be first class.2 gyms per school and all new equipment for every sport.png community has really stepped up for its kids.

setx players at mcneese are a dying breed.havent signed one in 2 yrs now.

gyros from campus corner are the bomb.had my first one 20yrs ago and still pick one up from time to time.

we didnt get to see many of the jc kids/transfers that signed this spring.several of these players will start and we still have the potential to pick up a few more.

lamar will have all 65 filled this fall.i remember reading woodard say he was saving a few for potential transfers this summer.73 on roster now and should at 100 when summer workouts start.

png sophs have only lost to nederland so im assuming that game is for district also.

this coming saturday april 10th 300pm @soccer field.who's going??

the kids that signed in the spring wont show on the roster until they enroll at lu.

beaumont ent is kicking the pa news butt when it comes to covering spring football.bob west needs to step up.
