  1. I tell you what, that Nolan kid continues to impress me. Congrats Hornets!! Keep this up, and some of these posters on here might actually pick you to win every once in a while.
  2. Hardin hit well against HD later in the game. Still not hitting the ball hard though, a lot of floaters just out of the infield. Remsing and Nolan are usually automatic and hit the ball hard. Hardin should win, infield errors will kill them though. Good luck Hornets!
  3. Oh what fun we had showing off for the girls on the mini tramp!!
  4. In 1987, my senior year at Hardin, I thought that we went to Woden and played them. This could have been my junior year though. I remember because they were an all white school then and we had some issues with the crowd during the game concerning a couple of our players. Jason Nolan played at West Hardin and graduated I believe in 1988. As far as the Mills kid, his first name was Bobby and he didn't play in the district tournament because of shoulder surgery.
  5. I think Nolan's dad was Jason. He had grey hair by his junior year, couldn't miss him!!
  6. If Hardin shoots as well as they did against Woden, Hardin wins.
  7. It wasn't Shelbyville, it was Grapeland. And yes, West Hardin was zone champs and Hardin was district champs. We actually beat Woden twice that year, once in Woden and then in the game mentioned. Let's not forget the play of that Mills kid, what a force he brought to the team his senior year. By the way, where's our district championship banner for the gym?
  8. Me too, good luck to EC and Kountze.
  9. Again, EC was sitting at home sucking tit while Hardin was continuing on in the playoffs. Nuff said!!
  10. They still went farther than anyone in football, they still beat overrated EC twice this year in basketball, and they beat Kountze also. Hardin, who could be the smallest school in the district, has held their on all year so far. Baseball should be the same.
  11. I wouldn't call it a complete waste, beating the heck out of someone can boost your moral and that does help sometimes. Good luck Hornets, keep it rolling. But, I am ready for baseball season to get going full steam. If you only go one game farther than anyone else in the district will be an accomplishment as far as I'm concerned. Just like football season!!!!!
  12. Sounds like an exciting game, but really, doesn't everybody like it when EC loses. Does anybody other than Winnie want to see EC win at anything?
  13. Marsh, 1st team all-state receiver, district MVP in 24-2A on the court. Tramain can't compete with him as far as I'm concerned on the basketball court. I also agree that TT was awsome this year at defensive back, but maybe he should consider a smaller school because the SEC and Big-12 are full of kids with twice the talent he has and are sitting the bench. Regardless, I do wish him luck wherever he goes. It's good to see a small town kid in our area do good.
  14. How are his grades? Can he make it academically in college?
  15. This should be a good one. The big difference from the first meeting I assure you will be that 3/4 of Hardin's fans won't have to be forced to leave by the Sheriff's department and then escorted out.
  16. Hey genious', I did make a prediction. They don't teach reading in your towns?
  17. I do agree, it will be much tougher on Hardin in Kountze. Should be exciting! Good luck to both teams!
  18. Topdawg must have been on the moon the first time Hardin played Kountze.
  19. It's amazing to me the constant lack of respect Hardin manages to get on these forums. I believe they're 17-4 and still only a select few pick them to win. It was the same way in football though. But, I do get a lot of satisfaction each and every week listening to all the losers cry and complain about how their team should have won. I'm gonna help ya'll out, the officials are gonna be terrible, Marsh traveled, Nolan's foot was on the line and it should have only been a two pointer, and the gym was hotter on Deweville's end.
  20. I heard the officiating for this game was horrible. Anahuac cries alot, always have, so I can imagine how bad this was for Hardin all night. But, Hardin still won and are still undefeated in district. Good job!!
  21. Warren has some shooters, EC is overated. Warren by 5.
  22. The entire 8th grade girls team in Hardin looks real good!
