  1. Just heard tonight about this, I only know rumors, no hard facts, so I won't elaborate yet.
  2. I love my Hornets, but I think the district is still wide open. Hardin has an explosive offense, with a big play waiting to happen on every snap. But I hear Anahuac is the same, so who knows. EC is always tough, so all we can do is wait and see. We all use our emotions and what has happened in the past to base our predictions sometimes, but teams like Kountze and Deweyville can show up and upset you when you least expect it. So good luck to everybody and hopefully our district represents well in the post season.
  3. We have to play the perfect game, no mistakes. Should be a fun one to watch, good luck to both teams!
  4. Hardin #6 quarterback Matt Schuchardt two rushing touchdowns, two 2-point conversions, 85 yard punt return for a touchdown, and an interception return for 40 yards. Big morale booster for the JV, first win in forever!
  5. Hey this guy has brought all this on himself, every post involving Hardin is slammed by him. Haters and jealousy amongst them will bring a lot of feedback.
  6. I stood on the track as Trinity left the field in Hardin. They were big and very athletic looking. They showed tons of speed during warm-ups, several of us were watching them and all agreed. What happened once the game started? They ran what looked like about 4 different plays all night. Very predictable in their play calling, we were calling them from the press box. Maybe mix it up a little and use some of the size and speed you have. Good luck Trinity!
  7. Oh, so Colt was a Heisman candidate at 17 in high school? Mitch's offensive numbers don't mean squat, he is being recruited as a defensive back. Thomas from EC had decent numbers offensively, but he was recruited as a defensive back too and is seeing serious playing time at Arkansas. Once again, he is being recruited for defense.
  8. What? Dismiss you?.....LOL! Ok, you are dismissed!....LOL! Thorn in our side? Great, keep on talking, we plan to give you plenty to talk about!
  9. And you want to talk about proper grammar? Face it Cowgirl, Shepherd has a decent team. Typographical error, dumbass. Just proves my point again. You attempt to degrade me by calling me a female. My feelings are hurt. However, if the family tree had branches you might have a higher level of intelligence. What a loser. It's OK, be a hater, we love it. We love to hear losers get upset when we win, it inspires us!
  10. I believe they will compete for the 3rd spot.
  11. Last time I checked, everybody in Hardin blamed Villemez's injury as the downfall in that game (excuse...I think it is.) Everybody from Hardin was justifying last week's performance by stating how good Shepherd has gotten when nothing to very little has been stated about Shepherd's team on any posts (up to last week.) Another thing...the excessive stroking of the coaching staff's ego has gotten "out of hand." Beating Trinity is not something I would consider as a high mark of coaching excellence. Hardin has a stud in Villemez and not much after that. Finally, no disrespect is intended to the players of any program...just the idiots that place Hardin on a pedestal of a great program for years running when (like most programs) have strokes of good luck as far as athletes are concerned. There may have been a couple post that blamed the loss on the injury, but all in all the responses were that maybe the score wouldn't have been so lopsided, that Shepherd played a heck of a game and earned a great win for their program. Everybody on this forum picked Woodville because they're basing Shepherd on what they've done in the past, hopefully their district competition does the same thing and they'll be watching them in the playoffs. Oh, and Cowboys, seriously, "Cowboys"? It's OK to congratulate Hardin, they're not a bad program.
  12. Nice win for Hardin. We looked a little sluggish the first half, but without Villemez it looked like a whole different game plan. Made up for it in the second half. Good luck to Trinity the rest of the year, they have some size and some good skilled players.
  13. Amen brother, they should compete for a playoff spot!
  14. Formerhornet and unknowit, most of my info comes from your wives, but in this case, I saw the recruiting letters sent to him showing their interest, personally shook the hand of the UT scout, and listened to the voice mail left by Kansas. So, believe it, be jealous about it, whatever you choose, noone really cares if you believe it or not.
  15. Truth hurts haha Yall did beat us last year and I congratulated you'll and ill do the same this year if you'll win. I predict a back and forth shootout again this year, should be fun to watch.
  16. For the record, the kids in Hardin are not taking Trinity lightly. We expect a good game, good luck tomorrow night!
  17. Dude, that's the second time you've said that, and it wasn't funny the first time either. I guess you have something against folks who attend church? Oh it was hillarious, it was idiot bait, and it worked beautifully!
  18. I have an idea, why don't you talk to Mitch face to face and let him know how you feel, just as a community service, I'm sure you'll be just fine.
  19. Even though this is probably the first team AP has played that's allowed to practice on Wednesdays due to church services, I think they win big.
  20. Trinity played Tenaha a better game than what the score shows. Ask the Tenaha fans. I was at the game. 1st quarter was 0-0. Then Trinity had a melt down in the 2nd which should have never happened. 3rd and 4th quarter belonged to Trinity. Trinity is improving and will be ready for Hardin. See you at the game Friday. It's hard to judge a team by how they played in their scrimmages and the first couple games, most teams are trying a lot of different looks to kinda find out what works. We expect Trinity to be improved and ready to play, we aren't expecting a blowout by any means. Good luck to both teams and hopefully the night goes injury free.
  21. No doubt this is a team sport, but MV is as good as they come. Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Alabama, and Kansas certainly think so. I'm gonna go with their feelings, not someone bad mouthing a 17 year old kid who's still growing up.
  22. I think both are having a rough start this year so may be a close one.
  23. Trinity will come in knowing Hardin lost to Shepherd and that it's homecoming and will be looking for an upset. Doesn't take much to get a bunch of kids fired up, so hopefully Hardin is ready. If we tackle like we did against Shepherd it will be bad, if we play like we're capable of it will be bad for Trinity.
