Formerhornet must have played tennis cause he don't know crap about football. I've personally talked to A & M and Texas at the games and MV is high on their list. Why put down any kid for any reason? I don't care if he goes to the weakest D3 college, he's still playing on Saturdays and getting a great education paid for! Try not to be a dumb*ss all your life!

Liberty has been terrible for years, they were handed their butts last year in the scrimmage against Hardin and were scared to play us this year. But I will say, for the kids sake, I hope they do well. Hardin knows first hand what it's like to lose, but we no longer accept losing, we let the coaches "coach" and keep the parents out of the huddle, maybe Liberty should try this.

I say Hardin wins, but just like my post for the Tarkington game, I don't know anything about Shepherd. It's teams like Shepherd that everybody picks against and then they show up to play and surprise you. Hopefully we don't go in too cocky and get the job done.

Well, if either was on a 4A or 5A team they would have 4A or 5A teammates blocking for them, throwing to them, ect. So I don't understand the merit of the question. The kid from Evadale did his thing against a bigger 2A school, Villemez did his against a bigger 3A school. So both had a hell of a night!

Mitch may have had more yards, the Chronicle and Enterprise got the wrong stats for Miles, the same thing may have happened to Mitch. Miles was around 250 yards passing, not 166.

Great game for the Hornets! The defensive speed is impressive. We did make a few dumb mistakes, 4th and forever and rough the passer and also a face mask out of bounds that gave them another first down, but all in all a total domination by the Hornets. When the all-purpose yard stats come out for Villemez and DJ Hall, they should be impressive. Miles should be close to 300 again in passing yards I believe.

Is Tarkington, the laughing stock team of Liberty County, the team that Liberty even looks forward to playing cause it may be their only win, actually talking about someone else? Thanks for the motivation to our boys idiots!!

A coach from H-D told you that they'll start the season 0-3??? If that is the case, whoever your source is needs to be fired on the spot. It happened. I have no reason to lie.

I hope the best for HD, but Teneha wins this one. One of their coaches told me before the Hardin game they will probably start the season 0-3. With that said, I challenge you to prove us both wrong.

All those past district championships have gotten you what, an early exit in the first round every year. What did those get you last year? I total domination by Hardin! Like I said, living in the past isn't gonna make your team any better or help you win this year. We'll see how you feel Saturday after Newton beats you to death, OH, my bad, you won district a couple years ago, watch out Newton!

And what poll would that be? The barberpole? maypole? northpole? Heck, Hardin hasn't won a district championship in 35 years (lost 54-0 in bi-district). That just doesn't generate a lot of state wide respect. No Hardin hasn't won a district championship in a long while, but, I believe they are the only team in our district to win a bi-district championship in the last 3 years(beat Hemphill to advanc to second round). While everyone else is living in the past, Hardin is getting stronger and that's what matters in the present.

Like I said before, we all get a little crazy over this game, we all say things in the heat of the moment that we normally may not say. Very classy move and good luck to HD too!!

One other thing I want to add, when the young man broke his leg (#9), it was Mitch who was the first to get him a bottle of water and stood there and then helped the kid up, so don't question anything about Mitch until you know him.

LOL!!!! Closer than the score shows....LOL!!! You had the whole 4th quarter to score on our reserves and couldn't.....LOL!!!!! This was a full blown rout! The turnovers were a result of our faster, hard hitting, more athletic defense!!

Hunter is from Hardin, tore his knee up and missed all last year, if his ACL in his other knee is torn, very bad news for the Senior!

Terrible news for #9, we all wish him the best. No horse collar though, happened right in front of me, just a normal tackle being drug down from behind and he went down awkward. A lot like Hunter Davis' knee injury last year.
