I know for a fact that without the work of several coaches there were at least three players that would not have even been heard of. I also know that the coaches at Ozen are very high quality coaches with good values and work ethic. What I meant by arm chair quarterbacks is that i see you people all the time riding the descisions of coaches in the after math but we all know you could do the job if given the opportunity. there is more to the coaching than you think. I praise all who coach and hang their futures on the performance of 15 and 16 year old kids. And for those of you who sit back with your shoulda coulda wouldas give it a shot and lets see how you do.

As usual armchair qb's dont know a thing about what is going on in the real world. The defense at Ozen has been pretty darn good in the last few years. The talent has been great as well but we all know that the main position of qb has never been filled and the future there is still bleak. The staff in place now is filled with knowledgable, moral, and hardworking people and its just a matter of time before the team follows suit and becomes the succesfull team we all know they can be. And as far as all the signees the coaches work twice as hard as others to get their players the future chances they deserve thats why there is so many from ozen. Central is no less talented neither is WB if not way more.

If you are talking strait basketball i would not be able to tell you but if you are talking all around year in and year out I would say Odom academy of beaumont. Chavis does a great job.

really all hinges on the Quarterback position. Has been a few years since they found a QB that was respectable and a good leader and they are still in that delima. The runnign abck position is very good will james white returning after a great inaugural season. On defense there are a few question marks but it will be led by Ricky Francis who is taking over for isadore at the mike. He is taller faster and stronger than isadore but we all know that isnt all it takes. The Panthers will be young and with that great freshman class last year the future looks pretty good.

yes times have changed and apparently passed you by. I f you have been keeping up with the panthers you would know that even before Bouttes departure the panthers have not been playing very well. Struggling against silsbee and losing two in the san antonio tournament and a loss to the kelly bulldogs. As far as butting in this is a conversation you probably shouldnt be a part of. Yes Boutte was a great loss but the kids will be fine and coach seveat willwork hard as well as the rest of the staff who were trained by boutte.

Stowers did a great job but if it is given to the team that goes the deepest I thought Kirbyville just got through playing the the state game.

i think TH needs to watch how he words things. I thought to be a writer you had to know how to put things in words. But on the other hand to MB defense he did not have the talent level that a PNG team is used to. And contrary to some of you arm chair quarterback beliefs you dont just make talent. TH was correct with most of his comments it was just put in poor taste. It was wrong to refer to high school kids as pathetic. From what I understand Hanna will probably not even qualify for the next level grade wise. On Michaels behalf Im pretty sure LSU does not recruit people they dont think they can play. Some of you need to do more research.

Hands down the running back from Ozen James White. Rushing for nearly if not over 1000 yards in his first season for ozen varsity. Only back in that system and never missed a game or got hurt.

sorry that F.A.T. was 4.7 simple typo. But still have no doubt he is better than anyother in the district at this time. I still love to hear all your comments though especially those who think they are knowledgable and have no clue. By the way I have been around when Isadore was measured and he is 5 10 and 1/2 FACT. He may be a little light right now but that will be fixed this offseason. and in college. The kid is on track for 130+ tackles what else can he do to help his team who on defense is very inexperienced. He has guided pierre Harmon and Ricky francis to 2 very good junior seasons and he stays out of trouble in school and never is a danger in the classroom. WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!

I love to hear these lies. I know Isadore personally and I know he measures 5 10 and a 1/2. He runs 5.7 fat(for those that dont know that is computer timed) just because isadore doesnt verbally lead his team does make him what yall call him. Some people lead with their play instead of their mouth. Yes he is cocky but i promise you have to be a little cocky to play this game anyone that thinks otherwise is an idiot. Yes Ozens defense seems a little weak this year but if you watch film it is not as bad as you think. Lumberton only had 2 drives. vidor was putrid against them, nederland had only one quarter worth of success, and against livingston their special teams killed them, PNG could P@#$% a drop, Lots of misfortune and an entirely new secondary with one returner. The whole d line was brand new and the two outside abckers new played on friday night either. Isadore may not win the MVP vote but I guarantee he will make the most defensive noise in college out of this district.

Hands down Isadore is the best defensive recruit in this district. If Def MVP means that your team had to win more games then no he isnt it. But If you took the best defenders in this district he would far be the number one person picked with beard and the livingston kid second. Just ask all the college recruiters who have been at all three of their games and said he is the number one in this district by far. I think these guys know a little about picking talent. PS the whining is pathetic.

Willie will play football at the next level. He will sit first year and play a decent role in his second but watch in his third year. I have the patience to wait for three years and then rub your noses in it. I would not be suprised that if he puts on some weight that the coaches dont utilize him sooner than that. Watcha nd see.

excellent observation short. And I believe we are about 90 to 95 percent in the red zone. And anyone who really knows anything about football you dont just throw the ball up. You probably need to stick to the armchair stuff and let the real coaches coach.

Ozen over Central. Big upset and Ozen could turn their season around.

I know both and I have played at that next level and I am in close proximity to him all the time. He definitly made an impact at the lumberton game althought he team came up short. But I tell you he has only begun to scratch his potential. He has a frame that will hold much more weight and he will learn by leeps and bounds in the coming years. He has pretty good work ethic and I know for a fact when he went to the LSU camp he responds well to challenges and criticism. Just to let you know at that camp he literally made a fool of the nations number one corner back and did the same to the 3rd ranked outside backer. WHat else do you want

I love how people that know nothing about a person individually can comment on him. Willie has turned the corner as a team player. He has stepped up to be a pretty good leader. Some of you commenting havent sent a kid to a decent D1 in years and as far as lumberton the beard kid is good but the rest of the team play well as a team but no one else will be a possible recruit for anyone respectable. Most of you probably dont even know willie or the rest of the kids you are talking about other than what you preceive from the games you see on friday night from the opposite side of the field. Stop being jealous and support all of our local talent. As far as basketball goes he is good but I know he wants to play football at the next level and there have already been over 2 dozen offers.
