Ease up HF. The reality is that your team is not as talented as the others in your tough district. Jasper, BC, Silsbee, HJ and possibly OF now are better teams. From a position by position comparison, even before the season, HF's district standing was predictable regardless of the coaching. Public displays of fussing and frustration are not going to help the kids learn the lessons of life which baseball should be teaching.

Great game for Svoboda Maybe Muellner will start seeing some more playing time now. Bruins could sure use the bat!

Any way you describe it, Dogs now have backs to the wall with Vidor still waiting in the first half of distirict. Early in the season but it appears PNG, LCM and Vdor battle for top three spots

Good pitching and defense will silence big bats. Possibly a slight reality check for LCM. It is going to be a long district race. Vidor and Nederland will want some of them also. Gonna be fun to watch.

You can only coach what you are given Hooks does great in football because he has some awesome talent and his staff is good The problem in WOS baseball is not enough baseball talent rising through the ranks. No coach is going to change this. I suspect this is a youth baseball problem. Baseball playing talent has shifted to other schools LCM, OF, BC

what were the injuries? this may big a big blow for a team with post season hopes

yes, but I hate to see to squads with worn out staffs try to pitch This game on the heels of a weekend tournament would not be a true representation. Better to see it in the playoffs

I just hate it when people blame the umpires. Just quit for the rest of the season. Forever A poor excuse is much worse than not having one
