Anybody read the P.A. News this morning about the post game mishap involving the Nederland-Ozen tape by Friday Night Experience? Conspiracy? P.N.G. steal the tape? Ozen wanting nobody to see it? Dog ate the tape? Camera had low battery? Forgot which tape was in the V.C.R. and taped "Family Guy" over it? And my favorite " Lens cap was still on ". What a shame i was all ready to watch game last night, had my beer, popcorn and feet up. Good thing there was a good high school game on channel 26 with multiple cameras, closeups, replays, etc. I would have really hated to waste the beer and popcorn.

Great call A.D.'S. Remember these Seniors went thru a coin flip season as Freshmen. I hate to see their Senior season go thru that again. Now the only thing else to make right that did not happen last time ( Rita ) is to get the underclassmen games going also.

Good job Buna! no power, no lights, that can all be overcome, but no homes to come home to may be much greater to overcome. And I know there are many in HF and BC that fall into that category. Prayers with them, and all others, alot of adversity to oversome, much more than lights and power.

20-4a, they need to be practicing monday not meeting. are they going to wait until the dairy queen is open to start? buna is a fine example of team work, practicing with out school open and playing a game saturday because of lights. way to go buna. adjust and overcome!

mid county area, i live by c.o. wilson just got a report that my house is ok, no shingles missing, fence still up, carport, patio, whirlybirds all ok. no flooding except real low areas that normally flood. no major power poles down, lots of broken limbs. people are driving around checking friends houses so its nothing like rita. i hope this info helps bulldogs feel better while they are off from their homes. port arthur seawall held, bridge city and east of the river such as orange etc flooded. no power anywhere.stay calm all will be well.

No i'm not sure but my sister's boyfriend works for the uncle of a guy that dates a girl that goes to Nederland High. She said that one of her friends heard in the hallway from another guy that Nederland was playin Kelly at 6:00 p.m. Thursday. I do not put ink to hear say, thank you very much. What else could you ask for? You sure? Because I heard from several players they would try to play Memorial..could be wrong though.

Chill, Nederland may still play a local team. Who? Don't know yet. Houston teams are not to travel anywhere and our Administrators made the right call not to put kids and parents on the road. Good call Nederland.

Exactally what have you seen from Nederland to justify them being so far ahead of everyone else? Not being critical, just curious. Nederland will be ready, we are not playing Private Schools to get ready for District, we will have everyone heathly hopefully. Like i said on a previous post i see us going 0-3 and 7-0. As far as being so far ahead of everyone else i do not understand that comment. All you have to do is win by 1 but you are ready know that.

We will be fine, no reason to peak now, district is what pays the bills. Remember last year P.N.G. could not even find the endzone their first 2 games. They had a pretty good run after that. I am looking at a 0-3 start and a 7-0 run for our first out right District Championship in many, many years. We finish the year with the same record as last.

Well after all is said in done you will have a hard time getting Sheffield Productions after this year, Kelly will be so satisfied with their product they may up the ante and lock them down for a big contract. Its not all about money, there are contracts involved with Schools, Sponsorships, T.V. Stations, etc. It would be nice to be able to pick a BIG GAME and go film it, but it just doesn't work that way. Some of the filming crews are in it for the money and some are in it for a quality product, i leave that up for everyone to decide after this year who is who. Why on Friday Night are there 20 different Photographers on the sidelines but yet you cannot have 2 Video Crews? Contracts. The best thing to do is talk with your School District Personnel in charge of the contracts. Nothing better than a little competition. Finally for a first year out on their own i think the schedule is find.
