  1. I'm all for it. Having it out on the interstate may help change perceptions of the area.
  2. I'm with him. If the stadium is so packed that you obstruct someone's view, then people should have the common courtesy to leave the umbrellas folded up.
  3. We were getting some when it first opened, but now with the proliferation of field turfs in other locations it's not as attractive to use. Also because the way the bidistrict round is set up most of the jeff. and orange county schools go west not north. I think the bmt stadium will get their share.
  4. It's a neutral site between east texas teams and houston area teams.
  5. Wonder if there is going to be access to the stadium coming from hwy 124
  6. Take the pick six away on the final plan and it was a one score game.
  7. Wouldn't at all surprise me if they do put up sixty.
  8. Kelly moved the ball pretty well against that stingy defense. I like our chances. BC is not playing Kountze or Buna this week.
  9. I don't think just picking against them warrants a crow dinner.
  10. Good lord, it's not that far. The fans that want to go will find a way to make it I'm sure. :
  11. I thought most Jasper fans were very complimentary of him.
  12. Believe me i know we're not a real good team but we're better than the cards. And yeah, where is speveto?
  13. This thread seems to be a lil penny anteish.
  14. Yes they've got a very good baseball program over there. I went and watched bc play kelly and what i saw that night was not a very good football team.
  15. No need to worry bout Coop he's already looking ahead to next year.
  16. Reality sets in for the redbirds. The're not that good. 35-7 tigers
  17. No I didn't see any slip downs for the nags but I did see a couple of slip downs by Johnson with an open field in front of him.
  18. Lack of athletic bussing;dropped passes caused the loss to the tigers. Or we weren't beat we just ran out of time
  19. I do think that their declining enrollment may be catching up to them a little, but not near enough for bc or orangefield to beat them yet. Their only two losses are to the only two 3a programs in the area that can match their talent level.

  21. If i remember correctly we did have a decent gain on first setting up 2nd and 6 or seven before the sack setting up 3rd and long. I know players make mistakes but the number of close losses we've had the last few years beginning with the loss to west columbia have me really questioning our coaches ability to win them or to just win a game against teams with equal talent.
  22. The play that killed it was 2nd down, when for some unknown reason the tigers dropped back to pass but were sacked setting up a 3rd and long and forcing us to throw to try and extend the drive.
  23. Thanks aaw for the info.
  24. You're right, this is old hat, but until there is a shake-up in the coaching staff, I am afraid we will keep wearing up. Since 98 we have a losing record. And just because you throw it every down, it doesn't mean you have a passing attack.
