  1. Well the way that Walkoviak dominated the rivalry for so long, probably did hurt the rivalry some.
  2. What type of teams are usually in the Spurs tournament?
  3. That's true. The 07 game was pretty good also.
  4. Of all the games I've attended in this rivalry, two stick out in my mind. The 89 game when the dogs came into Silsbee ranked 6th(iirc) in the state and lost a very tight low scoring game. I think it was along the lines of 13-9. Silsbee had a couple of great defensive stops on their own goalline in the 4th quarter. That was the most intense game at old Kirby Stadium that i can remember. The other game was in Jasper, the night the lights went out.
  5. Yeah, previews of the whole region is sorta what I was expecting.
  6. What position(s) is he most likely to play at?
  7. The cardinals have absolutely no offense. Stop the counter out of the shotgun and you stop their offense. Kelly gave them all they wanted last Friday.
  8. Although O-field does concern me a little just because of the offense they run. Went and watched BC play Kelly and they are very limited on offense. Tackle well and stop the counter out of the shotgun formation and they're done, imo.
  9. Newton fans. Did the lb that was injured in the Silsbee game play? #8 I believe.
  10. Lol me too MrUmp. Lincoln maybe would be 3a now though.
  11. It's gonna be funny when WOS comes out and drops 50 or 60 on everyone but the tigers and even more when Silsbee handles then pretty handedly.

  13. I have to side with the raider fans on this. I'd rather be in old Kirby Memorial and have a good football team than to be in Tiger Stadium with a very mediocre team. And I'm not ok with a loss to the raiders just because they're 4a.

  15. Pretty good schedule for Spurger.
  16. Were the two Oklahoma commits recruited as wr's, db's or as athletes? J/w
  17. Uh oh looks like the dogs may have found themselves a coach.
  18. Great game. Good effort by both teams and coaching staffs. Silsbee went conservative too early in the fourth. If your only winning by seven with three minutes left try to score, don't try to run out the clock. Once again great game!
  19. Thanks ryker. Great work.
  20. Yes, calling a player stupid is uncalled for. Sorta had a flashback to some of those old Randy Matthews highlights.
  21. Saying that, Silsbee has only played one team of any caliber, warranted it getting deleted?

  23. Offenses sorry. Reading this site for this long has nearly brainwashed me. I will now go give myself 100 lashes.
  24. Yeah but you can't take away those scores. We had a 3 touchdown lead and our defence was playing well, and that allowed our coaches to go conservative on offence.
