That's pretty much expected...  But I take it you supported the proposal to lay field turf in Silsbee, huh?  Expected as well...   ::) ::)
The money for the field turf in Silsbee is being raised, the way it should be. For the record I voted for the bond, and really think(thought) that BMT needed to spend money on schools and even supported the ''educational support center''. I however, don't remember a hotel/basketball arena being in the bond. Lot of projects left unfinished and if there is money left over it should be paid back against the bond principal or put into a rainy day fund. As I said before, the bond appears to have had a lot of slush money intentionally put in it for Butch and his cronies to spend as they wish. What about all of the other classroom related projects that were cut out of the original $800 mil. dollar bond proposal? I guess they really weren't important, huh? Oh well, I'm white and in your eyes probably a racist so what does my opinion matter, right?
Interesting...  Good  points...  And BTW, no one threw the race card in here...  Don't accociate me with those kind of folk...
Alright Soulja, sorry about lumping you in with those kind of folks. I shouldn't have and I apologize.
 2. Spearman is a stud no doubt.

 5. I was directly underneath the guy that got kicked out. While he was loud and boisterous he didn't say anything to offend anyone. (Giving the refs a little grief but no cussing or saying they sucked) BC cop was way out of line in my opinion.
 6.
Noone ever mentions Curtis Buckly! Didn't he play for the Tampa Bay Bucs and 49ers. He made the 97 Pro Bowl as a reserve special teams player. His nickname was "Chick"
Buckley brought the wood, that's for sure. Doug Shankle gets my vote for all time and Buckley and Pat Henry get it for the ones that I've seen play.
 7. Yeah was a good team just couldn't recover from losing Jay. Still had enough talent at rb (Rhone, Taylor) to go deep but we decided we were a throwing team against C'view.
 8.
William Harper was a tough cat as well
Harper was great, should've had at least one more year as starter for the Tigers. That team was the most talented team since the '93 Spearman, McGuire, and Rhone team. 04 team had 5a size on the ol. Defense couldn't stop the run though.
Silsbee is also undefeated through the season. The WOS JV is undefeated, period.
10. Mathews always comes to my mind when I think of the best Silsbee QBs, maybe not as talented as JJ but had more desire and a bigger will to win (IMO). I don't remember that '98 team being particularly more talented than other Silsbee teams but they had moxy and the play calling was great during their playoff run.
 11. $10 million left over from the bond? Seems like Butch and the board loaded it with a bunch of playing around money. Have all of the schools even been built yet?
 12. Thanks for updates AAW. Didn't get off of work in time to make it.

 14. To the top!!!  ;D ;D ;D
 15. Good game BC. Tigers cut down on the turnovers and you would've had this one tonight. Was really impressed at how we handled the run tonight, hope this trend holds up. Was Johnson #73 the player recently moved up from JV. He had a great game and dominated the line at times. Can't really say much about the coaching other than the on going problem with turnovers, but a must have 3rd and a long one and you call a trick play? I know it worked once or twice in the subvarsity games but come on. If the hype of BC's greatness is to believed then we're starting to shape into a pretty good ball team (minus the turnovers). Oh well, was a good night of football just wish the Tigers had won.
 16.
I don't have a "problem" of beating UT. Where on earth did you get that from? I don't care about A&M either. I think you made some assumptions here. "Beating UT" is pretty easy this year, anyhow. UCLA blew them out of the stadium on national TV, then OU beat them soundly, too. Horns are not even in the top 25, and face Top Ten Nebraska next. Why exactly does ESPN glorify UT anyway? It was a free recruiting commerical for UT. Maybe they do need it? LOL!  ;D
Texas is like the Dallas Cowboys or the NY Yankees. They get ratings whether they win or lose.  ;)
 17. The answer to your problem is really quite simple. Start beating and outrecruit them. It's not Texas' or Mack Brown's fault that the viewing public tend to tune in to watch winners, not losers. The game was a laugher by the end of the 1st quarter so they had to have a lot of filler material. If the Aggies would step up and do something other than losing everytime they are put on TV, I'm sure ESPN would have some of their stuff ready to go.

I mean they're not even in dave campbell's top 25 for 3a (coldspring is). I guess dave campbell doesn't know what he's talking about though.(sarcasm)
No sarcasm needed, Dave's picks stink.
coldspring vs. orangefield 53-6               silsbee vs. orangefield 38-34         That's all that has to be said.
Yes because we all know that the transitive property always works while comparing teams.  ::)      62-16 and 40-0 That's all that has to be said. Tigers own the Trojans. Y'all would probably have a good chance to beat us this year, but we'll never know.  :P ;) Relax, these things usually work themselves out in the end.
 19. I don't think our 9th played Nederland. Maybe AAW confused Nederland with Vidor.
