I will preface this with this is 2nd hand info, so I apologize in advance. My understanding from the lady who was talking to me was his grand parents are from here and Colbert has a connection with the grandfather. He died but the family ties with Colbert has him at United. Hope my word salad made sense

So, Watched United vs Channelview In the non-timed portion, C'view 2-1 In the timed 2 quarters, United 4, C'view 0 United has a QB with a gun and an interesting back story. However, the WR couldn't get much seperation The secondary needs work because the tunnel screen, bubble screen, and post were open often. It may be an issue with alignment I was plesantly surprised at BU's numbers

Will you be in Gen-pop or in the pressbox?

Alright lil drummer boy. I had to resign myself that the Spread was here to stay so I adapted. Al Bundy huh? I will take my glory days over that bleep you saw while playing your little drum. I willing to bet you were there when Coach Bone said on TV and I quote: " We won't go 0-10 because we're only have 9 games......." So, are you gonna define 'loading up the box' or you gonna try to insult me, which tells me you don't know what you're watching......?
-
*clutches pearls* You have BH finishing 6th?
-
Define 'loading the box'. You don't know what you're watching. This isn't drumline

SOC's a different case. I watched the special on them. Their whole school and athletic facilities needed an upgrade. Luckily for them, their DISD district mates are below average but the wins pilled up. It wasn't until knocking off Aledo is when SOC broke through and now is a mainstay in 5A

I wouldn't take analysis from a person who doesn't know what he's watching but ok. Yes, we have a new QB for the 3rd year in a row but he's a junior and with an experience O line, WR and DL, we here that know and played the game expect a better season. So barring injury, we'll see

Still a lot of team's that I follow profiles haven't been updated on texasfootball.com -
Hey Aledo. PA will be fine for the next 2 years. Have to break in a new QB but he's a junior. They have all of their Oline and RB's back with a couple of WRs. On defense, the whole Dline and LB's return with a young-ish secondary Also, no district of doom in the 1st round so expections of a Regional final appearence are high. All 4 playoff teams from Dist 9 should beat the HISD reps Of course, all of this is barring injuries, etc

I think the UIL did Lufkin dirty. Like West Brook and now the mid county schools get a taste of what it's like to play in Reg 2. Simply, if it were up to me, Lufkin would be in district 10, Easier travel and the competition is less than mid but, to your point, less travel. For years, I've complained about the lack of map reading skills by the the UIL
