  1. Every now and then, during the early days of 4 teams getting in, there were districts with only 4 teams so there was that....... I was in the 10th when the UIL allowed 2 teams. West Brook would like to have a word with you 1 teamers. Also, we finished 2nd during our 1st semi final run in '83
  2. Harvey made an already leaking roof at old Beaumont High worse. So BISD combined the two schools
  3. It's Ozen and there's a possibility of the Panthers playing in 4A DI....... Perhaps Central too
  4. That's how it goes in Barbara's Hill.
  5. I was at that D'ville game which SLC beat them. It wasn't just the qb, the RB had a field day and they couldn't stop #13. Now what I didn't know was, that game was an outlier. Normally, Duncanville handles SLC on the regular
  6. They have been SLOWLY implementing that virus I call the Spread. But with all that history of running down hill from the I-formation, et al, I can't see them making a 180 degree turn to be like everybody else. The pride of the program are the Hawgs(Offensive line) so we shall see.......
  7. I'm not worried about BH. I didn't see anybody on that team that scared me. Just another high dollar coach......
  8. I'm always interested in my other black and red team, those Trinity Trojans. I think they may make some noise in Reg1 with a new coach, the son of Lineweaver from SLC......
  9. It would be nice if the 210 pounder plays some TE/HB. Especially in short yardage/goal line situations. Also, he could fill in at DE on occasion
  10. PAM won the last meeting with "The Park" lol. Valsin stuffed their RB at the 1 as the clock ran out.......in Humble......
  11. While y'all morn the artist formally known as the NCAA and Shamaturism, UCLA and USC are chasing that Big Ten network money to the tune of 100-125 million per team. I don't see anyone crying about the looming 40-50 teams league which will kill the NCAA.....
  12. I understand the maintaining of the turf. I guess my statement should be: In addition to the turf upgrade, the stadium also needs this this and that.....#notmadatPAISD
  13. Need new lights, concessions and restrooms but ok.....
  14. I agree. This is peanuts compared to that TV money....... But it's a start
  15. Legacy must be a new school Edit: This seems to be a private school in it's first season so this will be a let down in talent and experience
  16. Maybe, just maybe, him focusing on just offense will make PAM more consistent. I mean, the passing game could use some work and can we get a TE/HB on occasion......
  17. 2 Americas situation. And no coach worth their salt would pic RVG or El Paso so the places I listed both have the talent and the facilities......
  18. Also, Cedar Hill. That Belt Line corridor of Lancaster, Desoto, Cedar Hill, with Duncanville sitting on I-20, is the most talent laden corridor in the state.
  19. NorthShore Euless Trinity Westfiled Duncanville DeSoto Lancaster John Tyler College Station The Woodlands Arlington Martin
  20. True. Bottom line: the question is, how much maintinence(sp) and up keep is a district willing to pay for a football/soccer field
  21. Back to Colbert getting the job. I see BU is having a meet a great soon. Despite the short comings of the AD, I've never seen a HC introduce himself to the community like this so perhaps Colbert is starting out on the right foot
  22. 3rd...... HISD football is Lamar is the tallest midget......... Northshore to the East Katy to the West Westfield and Spring battle with The Woodlands and a couple of Klein schools....
  23. Always look at the demographics. Every school inside 610 is becoming more of a futbol campus vs football. For the most part, the HISD talent can be found at Lamar with Bellaire a distant 2nd.....
  24. But I'm solutions oriented Buddy. I'm on their side. Just need some logo modifications lol.....
