Yes I was told he was torn between 3 schools and they all got tired of waiting on him to pick so they went different directions. Heard he will see a lot of pt early but never can tell.

Yep. I liked seeing the 4 freshmen playing so much together. And if Mathis would learn to play hard defense he could see a lot of playing time. He is a good scorer. One bad thing is I think we missed more lay ups then 3 pointers. Can't keep doing that!

One of the problems with texas is they are constantly giving up something. With mason and/or balbay in you suffer on offense since neither is even allowed to shoot. With Brown and Lucas in the game your offense picks up but neither is really any good at defending. So something gets exploited either way.

I have no clue two dogs. But I do know little English is a Freshman. Him and his friends are great playing together so watch out for Nederland in a few years.

Well I think it definitely is possible. However, I do think I would take the under if i were a betting man. But if the way they played defensely and the way they excuted the 2nd half on offense Saturday night continues, they might win more than 20.

Basketball is second at every school in the area pretty much. That is just the way it is. Their is no reason can't be as good as nederland or lcm who is in the postseason or pretty close for years. It has nothing to do with what I think you are implying in my opinion.

Tribesmen sorry but I have to disagree. Vidor has probably just as much or less talent than png yet they were co district champs a few years back. Or look at Ned. now. I know you wouldn't dare tell us we are more talented at NHS would you? Lol but the coach has to be willing to go in and put in the extra work to change the culture.

I thought minors back to back threes saved the game for us. Their big guys were very skilled and talented in the post. And down the stretch miles was money time and time again on isolation plays. The smaller SFA guard couldn't hold him. That and nabors cleaning up the glass was the difference.

AJ, you said a down side is that they don't know the offense yet. However, most of these guys played in these exact schemes at navarro or close forms of the spread at other schools. They are already familiar with everything but the facilities.

Well the word on the street that I heard was that they are the new SFA from 25 years ago...
