I think so. I'm friends with several players who say he just sits in the dugout at practice. He doesn't coach anymore. Just puts a lineup together of some of his favorite players. Just my opinion.

Could be a tough game if Texas decides not to play offense again. But no reason why they shouldn't win by 20

HJ has been struggling but silsbee is still missing Hill. That will keep it close. But home court advantage and better depth gives silsbee a win by 8 or 9

Well in another thread it said tubbs has blue prints to expand it to 35000 so its possible. Lamar is slowly trying to build and save up to being that much. But we have to get a nice constant fan base first and start winning some games! Plus its still 8 months till the season starts! We have plenty of time to sell more tickets!

Agree with this completely. It is also important for the coaches to realize there is a fine line of working the kids hard and working the kids too hard. Two sport athletes get tons of practice and very few rest days. This can cause some serious injuries because of over work.

Kalis has the size and athletic ability to become one of the best players to ever come through Lamar. I hope she stays and develops well

Plus the Central game they played very subpar. But in district they have been great so overall I give them an A-. But they are very close to being A+. No way. They might sell that many tickets but they don't have that many people there. I go to about 3 games a year and its a half full stadium everygame. The whacker only holds 15000.

They might not be SETX but they are close and its more than just basketball with them. They bring up so many socialogial arguments that make for good conversation. They are so much better than everyone that it asks "is it okay to run up the score?" "how much is too much?" "is it a valuable lesson to teach our children to never let up or show them that in the real world no one will let up on them?" there is no positive right answer and that's why we talk about it!

TX state only averages about 7000 people and they went to the postseason last year and barely missed it this year! So Lamar is looking pretty good so far!

212 people when the ticket office opened at 7. And approx. another 200 has come in after the early rush. And bought them when the line died down. Great showing IMO
